“Seaview”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2012

My family and I discovered the Seaview a several years ago. Each stay is better than the last. The lobby is charming... a great place to sit back and enjoy the view of the gardens and relax. The rooms are comfortable and they offer man amenities. The staff is wonderful..... looking foward to returning.

Classsic Old World Elegance at the Seaview. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, staff, dining and location. The staff could not be more pleasant, accommodating and friendly; and, the well-appointed, clean, renovated Old World Charm (and history) architecture, and scenery (grounds and seaview) made our stay at this hotel a relaxing and fun experience. I swam while he relaxed and read under the umbrella at the Pool. We chatted through the sumptuous breakfast where staff was the finest.(All of their staff is the finest!) Later, we drove to AC and saw two shows, gambled, dined and then strolled on the boardwalk. What a wonderful vacation after busy work and home responsibilities. Thank you Seaview. The promotion enticed us. The resort impressed us.
And, Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

We stayed 2 nights and the first night our bed had a dip in it and we could feel the springs. We were given a room for the next night but that rooom's bathroom had a funny smell like mildew. I didn't see a black looking damp spot over the toilet until the next morning which may have been the culprit. Also the towel bars in the shower were rusty (see pics). I did let the front desk know abiut the black spot when we checked out.

The food was AWESOME and the staff were really nice though.

As always we had another wonderful stay at the Seaview. We go for a 3 day weekend with another couple every August. The service is always great and the rooms are comfortable and spotless all of the time, the furniture in the rooms could use a little sprucing up, but over all we have no complaints. Lobby is very nice and Lobby Bar is very comfortable and inviting. Pool area is very nice and they seem to have alot of chairs around for the guests. It is a convenient location also if you want to go into AC for a little gambling. It is not that far away and 1/2 the price you would pay for an AC Hotel room on a Friday or Saturday night. We don't play golf, but the other couple that comes with us does and they love the golf courses also. Many people rave about the buffet dinner they have in the main dining room. We are going to definitely check it out next year. Can't wait for next year!

We have discovered a lovely resort so close to home. The hotel has an old world elegant feel to it and many modern amenities. The outdoor pool area was lovely, as well as the surrounding grounds. They also have a very large indoor pool, which we look forward to using the next time we visit. The only complaint we had was that our room was a bit musty, maybe because the room was not used for a while and the A/C was off. Other than that we were very pleased and will return sometime in the future.

Room Tip: Try to get a room closer to the elevator as it is very large hotel.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback, and for your kind comments regarding our hotel, pool and grounds. I do apologize for the musty air in your room, and certainly hope that this was rectified during your stay.

We look forward to welcoming you back on your next trip to the Atlantic City area.

My gf and i recently needed a last minute destination to spend her b-day/our anniversary and while many places were booked and/or insanely expensive, we found the Seaview and went for it.
The price was very reasonable, particularly compared to what i'd consider comparable resorts. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The room was nice (not chic, but nice) and perfectly comfortable, including the bed.
As a couple, we didn't really hang out at the pool (which is decent) as it was pretty dominated by families...which is great if you're there with the family :). we ate lunch in the grill a couple of times which was very good.
We did enjoy the tennis courts quite a bit and there was no charge for equipment or balls (the racquets were ok, they gave us new balls each time we played).
the grounds are a bit spread out but they offer very convenient shuttle service anywhere on the grounds you need to go and the few times we used it, there was no wait at all.
the resort is close enough to AC that you can take a car service back/forth for a reasonable price, so we took advantage of that for a couple of nice dinners out (and a wee bit of blackjack at the borgata).
the red door spa that they share with the Marriott villas next door is a top notch spa.

We stayed here for a weekend getaway! The front desk staff was so friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean, comfortable and cozy! the club itself was really pretty! We didn't eat here so I can't comment on the food but overall, we had a great experience
