From the moment Gaynor opened the door you knew you had got it right.
From breakfast which was every thing you hoped for to the bed which was so comfy our 9 night stay was super.
The lounge had a library to keep anyone happy, it covered most subjects.
Games galore to keep you amused when not out enjoying Seaton & surrounding beauty spots.
Would stay again if in the area.
Thanks a lot Gaynor.

My partner and i visited Seaton for 3 nights end of september.
We decided to stay at Holmleigh House, and how glad we are.
Gaynor was very pleasant, made us feel very welcome.
We stayed in room 3 which was on the first floor with views across the bowling green. It was furnished to a high standard, comftable bed and a very spacious bathroom.
Breakfast was also a very high standard, pleny of choice of cereals, fruit, yogarts. We optd for the full English every morning, which was lovely but there was a choice of fish and egg dishes.
All in all we really enjoyed our stay at Holmleigh house and would definately stay again next time we visit the area

Enjoyed my stay here whilst I was walking the coast path. It's close to the front and easy to find. I was made to feel welcome and the room was well-equipped, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good.

This was our second visit in the last couple of months. Instead of being called Holmleigh it should be called Homeleigh, as that's exactly what it is, a home from home! Gaynor is very welcoming, making you feel very special from the moment you arrive. The family room is very comfortable and the level of cleanliness is superb. There is even the availability of a sitting room to use if you cannot get out, which shows the level of thought and consideration that is given to guests. The breakfasts are all made with the freshest of ingredients, and are terrific. Gaynor will even provide packed lunches if you want, a service we made full use of for every day we stayed there. Nothing is too much trouble and you just feel that every detail has been thought of to make your stay be the best that it possibly can. It is situated so close to the sea, you can just walk down the road and there it is. There is lots to see and do in the town and everything is easy to get to, so you can just leave the car and spend a whole day in and around Seaton. The famous Tram is only a five minute walk away. Parking nearby can possibly be a problem at busy times, though we have been lucky both of the times we have been there. It is so good, we have already booked up for next year!

Room Tip: All are as excellent as each other.

We have stayed at Holmleigh House four times now while visiting family and it has always been excellent. The rooms are really comfortable, bright and well equipped and very comfortable beds. The bathrooms are modern and always very fresh and clean. Gaynor is a wonderful proprietor and very kind, friendly and helpful - her breakfasts are quiet the best - locally sourced produce and brilliantly cooked. The best homemade fruit salad and Gaynor's lovely homemade marmalade and jams. What more could you want!

A friend and I stayed in 2011 for a local event and when the time came to book for a repeat visit in 2012 there was no question of staying anywhere else tham Holmleigh House.

Comfortable, well equipped and clean rooms. Nicely appointed en-suite shower rooms and, of course, Gaynor's fantastic breakfasts. Gaynor made us very welcome.

No difficulty in finding parking close to Holmleigh House, with good evening meals to be had close by too.

We hope to be back again in 2013.

We travel down to the West Country quite often each year, and when visiting Seaton we have stayed at Holmleigh House many times. The rooms are always clean, fresh and comfortable, and the breakfasts always have a great variety of fruit and cereals and homemade museli to choose from, together with the very tasty and freshly cooked full english. There is also a variety of Gaynors homemade jams and marmalades to spread on the toast, which sets us up for the rest of the day very nicely. The location of Holmleigh House is very close to the sea front and in easy walking distance of the town centre. We would recommend Holmleigh House to anyone looking for a very warm welcome to the West Country, and it won't be long before we see Gaynor again.

Room Tip: All the rooms we have stayed in are very comfortable and we would recommend any of them.
