Superb peacefull location, a wonderful hillside house set back from a very quiet lane with excellent views across the Loch. Tony and Sandra were marvelous hosts and made us feel at home, all the facilaties were excellent as were the breakfasts. Lots of wildlife about too, inc. deer and plenty of bird life, we even watched a pair of Ospreys soaring past while we took breakfast, stunning. We enjoyed our stay so much it was hard to leave. In a word - Perfect.

The evening meals were a wonder and incredible value for money. Our bedroom was beautiful, spacious and even had a balcony. Excellent hosts with a warm, friendly atmosphere and amazing views!

We were awestruck by the location, so romantic & idyllic, it was like being in Switzerland!!
We were welcomed by Tony & shown to our beautifully appointed room, with (very) private balcony, the standard of cleanliness was astonishing. The little things like shampoo, soap & shower gel, biscuits & sweets, even a sewing kit make it more complete. Our privacy was respected however, Tony & Sandra were always available-nothing was too much trouble!
All the food was locally sourced, and cooked to perfection, the breakfast was a 'breakfast of kings', bacon with childhood memories, sausages tasted 'real' not the usual hotel pap, real food for food lovers. All in all a perfectly peaceful holiday-with fabulous food!! Visit as soon as you can. Sue & Keith

We were on a cycling holiday and drenched by early evening, when we spotted the sign for Loch Awe House. Sandra and Tony made us very welcome and somehow Sandra rustled up a 5 star dinner with zero notice. Our room was lovely - very spacious, nicely decorated with a huge bathroom and great shower and a pile of lovely towels. View from our room and the dining room was splendid across the loch, which we appreciated even more the following morning when the rain had stopped and the clouds cleared. Dinner was first class, each course with fantastic flavours. Breakfast the next morning was the best we had during our 10 day holiday. Sandra and Tony have run hotels before and it shows. Nothing is too much trouble, every little thing has been carefully chosen.

Room Tip: The 2 rooms we saw were both lovely.

Tony & Sandra are the perfect hosts for this quiet little getaway. The facilities are very clean and we cannot over emphasise the quality of the food, for both breakfast and evening meal. This is complimented by the stunning view of Loch Awe from the dinning room.

We felt very welcome and at home, and would thoroughly recommend Loch Awe House for a romantic getaway.

We were looking for somewhere quiet to stay on the way to Oban and came across Loch Awe House’s website. At first we were a bit put off by the narrow road down the east side of the loch but there was very little traffic and frequent passing places. It was well worth the few extra miles!
Loch Awe House is a new building set above the road with fabulous views of the loch. We were one of the very first visitors and really appreciated how clean everything was and how well everything worked – no dodgy plumbing etc. We stayed in room 2 with its own private balcony. Those views are unforgettable. The room was very well appointed and furnished with style. Particularly liked the shower and the comfortable king sized bed.
Breakfast was everything you could ask for – everything wonderful quality. We also stayed for dinner one night; we had to order it in advance but it was all delicious. The B & B doesn’t have a licence but a bottle of wine is included with dinner for two – it’s a good idea to have a bottle in reserve as there’s a large guest lounge also with panoramic views of the loch with the setting sun behind.
Sandra & Tony’s friendliness made us feel very welcome – we’ll definitely be back!”
