We were delighted with our stay here which started only as the nearest available hotel to Parc y Scarlets, the rugby venue.
The staff was so welcoming and natural - not just fawning to get customers - and could not do enough to make our stay comfortable. We had a lunch there which was well prepared, varied and delicious and were served breakfast the following morning promptly, in fact before time, in order to catch our plane back to Ireland from Cardiff.
A local lady came to our rescue by giving us a lift to the rugby ground when we couldn't get a taxi in time - not many places left where that kind of trust and genuine kind-heartedness exists.
It really made us feel that we would look for an excuse to go there again.

Room Tip: book early!

This is "THE" place to eat in Llanelli. Food always good and all the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful
.It's the place to meet friends by chance, who you haven't seen for years.
They are all there with the same ideas. Good Food. Good service and good friends.
The best in town!!

My husband and I travelled to Llanelli (sadly for a relatives funeral). stayed 2 nights. Was so impressed by the friendly and happy staff. Good humour too. nothing to much trouble. Food was excellent and not expensive, breakfast, best we have ever tasted !!!!!! in a hotel/B&B/pub. Rooms nice and comfortable. Would definitely stay again if ever we are down that way in the future. Only downside is road noise, but that's to be expected where it is and we knew that before booking as it's my husband's home town. Will definitely remember the food!!!! generous portions and just delicious.

Our party of ten had Christmas Day here for the third time in 2013. We were not disappointed. Food was delicious and staff were very attentive and helpful as always. The food was plentiful, and to a really high standard. The room was beautifully decorated with balloons and seats covered with gold and black theme, which looked lovely. We will be back again next year for Mothers Day and Christmas Day!

We regularly eat in the Thomas Arms, as it is always great food that is really good value for money any day of the week. Well done Christine and team! We really appreciate having you as our local xx
