“Don't go”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

The center is very expensive and out dated. I wish I had a review before going there. In fact we just bumped into it while traveling in the area.
Even though it was a special day with events for the astronomy club, all the family slept in during explanations. There was a demonstration of the communication with a satellite but there was really nothing to observe.
My advise: skip it.

“I'd laugh if it wasn't as sad...”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013 via mobile

Euro ripoff space center. Uninspired overpriced outdated -so called- informative / interactive attractions. A total no go. I'd recommend it to nobody. If you'd like to learn about space, buy a decent book or documentary with the money you save by not visiting this place.

“for kids as well as adults”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013

Aimed at kids who are into "space", but also adults will find this interesting. 20 years ago this used to be a guided tour (which was good, but also a lot of advertising for their week-long stays), now it is done through an audio-guide.

Don't forget to check the outdoors! The concrete sound-parabola's make for a really cool gimmick. The labyrinth could do with some maintenance. It doesn't look like someone touched it this year.

Very reasonably priced (I paid 23 euro for 1 child, 1 adult and 1 moonwalk)

“We missed our ferry - trapped on the tour”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

We paid 71 euro to visit here - two seniors two children and one adult. Big question - is this an official site for the European space project or is it a Belgian tourist attraction? If the former it is a disgrace. It has obviously cost a fortune to build but it is now so amateur and passe. Anyone with any remote interest - anyone who is a fan of professor Brian Cox - would find this laughable. Our grandsons were so looking forward to the moon walk. Ha! It was finished before it had begun. Very very disappointing. It is far too expensive. On a serious note- once you start the '' tour '' exit from one area to another is controlled by a flashing red light. There is no member of staff accompanying the group. I ask - if you felt unwell how do you communicate with anyone and how do you get out? Even if you don't feel unwell - there is no means of escape - a cunning plan perhaps ? WE did want to cut the tour short as we realised we were getting short of time - and indeed we missed the ferry but as I said there is no way out until the red light flashes!! Our family now have a new benchmark for anything unsatisfactory or disappointing- Is it as bad as the Euro Space centre? ! I wish I had read trip advisor reviews. It has to be closed or brought into 2013.

“Save your money by not entering!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2013

Our kids liked the playground outside the building and that's it! The facilities are outdated, on the internet fare more astronomy and space exploration photos are available.
Once more: Save your money by not entering (toilets are OK).
