“Well Worth a Visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

Four of us stopped here for lunch on a beautiful September day. We all had sandwiches which, on the face of it, seemed expensive but actually were some of the best we have ever had – almost too much for one! They were served with either a side salad or chips (from the fish and chip counter next door) and both were excellent. We managed to finish them as well!

Totally recommended.

“Good enough”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

Visited yesterday, the staff were very friendly, the crab and prawn sandwich is very good and the cod is good too but the chips let it down as they are very average.

“First Class”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

We visited this restaurant with our daughter, son in law and twin 2 year old grandchildren on Saturday 24/08 and everything was first class. I always have the small fish as the regular is far too much for me and I am amazed that anyone could state that the regular portions are small. The fish is obviously fresh not frozen, tasty, crisp, well cooked and certainly not oily. The twins had sausage and fish goujons, however the goujons were not tiny pieces as were expected they were quite large pieces of fish so they thought that they were getting the same as us. They absolutely loved their meals and especially getting beans in a little dish and a large drink of apple juice. The service was as usual very friendly and helpful. We visit this place often and have always found it to be first class.

“Fish and chips by the sea”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013 via mobile

Visited with 2 friends. Good portion sizes. Quick service. I thought the fish was a bit too oily but my friends disagreed. Lovely bottle of Pinot with our food. We all said we'd go back.
