“Wonderful hospitality - thanks!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2012

My friends and I stayed here following a car related problem which required a last minute, unplanned overnight stay in Priego. We arrived at 11.45 pm with no reservation and hesitant Spanish and couldn't have been more hospitably welcomed.
The rooms we were offered were reasonably priced and spotlessly clean. They also have aircon. Mine had a balcony with a view of the pretty square that Zahori looks onto. Shampoo/shower gel and soap is provided and plenty of fluffy towels.
The generous drinks we were poured and the friendliness of the owner ensured that what had been a stressful evening turned into an opportunity to kick back and relax before bed! We had to get on the road the next morning but not before we were served excellent coffee, toast and jam. The owner also gave us some useful information about things to see before we left town so we made time for a short walk around Priego which is very pretty in places.
We ended up here entirely by chance but if I ever return to Priego de Cordoba, I would make a point of returning to Zahori to stay or try out the food.

“Beautiful location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2012

We didn't eat here but had a few drinks - the locaitn is perfect in a little courtyard area behind the church. The very friendly proprietor's lovely cat was drinking from the fountain close by - what a lovely scene! We are returning to priego in October and plan to stay here for a night, if they will have us!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2011

Love this place, the family owned restaurant served great food. the family were friendly warm and very accomodating. Outdoor space was by the historical church in the old arab quarter which made a wonderful place to be able to sit out in an evening. we was well looked after and i hope that there will be more trips to this hotel/restaurant. We can recommend a stay here . enjoy!

“Great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2010

This restaurant has outdoor tables in a little sunny square beside the main church in Priego and adjacent to the maze of alleyways of the old town. Inside it has a beautiful little patio. It's a very pleasant spot to have a drink or a meal. The service is friendly and efficient and the food is mainly tapas style and excellent value by our standards, if a tiny bit pricier than some of the bars in the less tourist oriented parts of Priego.
