Fanatastically situated on the mirador with dramatic views over the countryside, this is a traditional and fairly up market place. We voisited late on a Saturday and had no problem getting in. Food is as you would expect heavy on the meat, with some unusual local delicacies. Partridge pickled in sherry vinegar was really good, duck with caramelised apple was fine, with flavoursome slices of beautifullypink meat but the apple showed no hint of caramel, which was a shame. Weirdly we were not offered a wine list - just th echoicfe of red, white or beer - we were really surprised at this as we had heard the restaurant was famous for its wines. Maybe the recession has hit and they have had to sell the cellar? Service totally charming if a little slow for a quiet night. overall, recommended
