Went here because others had reviewed it favourably.
Like almost everyone in the restaurant, it seemed, we went for the meat mezze. It was ok, but it had a sort of production line feel to it, and none of the dishes was particularly outstanding. For example, one of the courses was a piece of chicken squashed flat and grilled, with no herbs or spices to give it any interest.
The host of course was charming and he worked very hard, on his own, front of house, to take orders and bring the food to the table. As others have said, he IS the menu. He recites everything they have from memory. But as the range of dishes on offer is so small, this is not a great feat!
Probably wouldn't go back, but that's not because the meal was bad.
