“Incredible”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013 for a stay in May 2012

It has been one year and six months since we stayed at Villa Zouzouni and I have only now got around to writing a few words, which is terribly embarrassing! But our memories of Villa Zouzouni and the wonderful and generous Tasso and Shari haven't faded one bit. We couldn't have wished for a better way to spend the last week of our Grecian honeymoon or have asked for nicer people to make us feel incredibly welcome - as if we were old friends - who were completely on our 'level' and helped to make this holiday (honeymoon status aside), one of the most memorable we have had. The villa itself is simply stunning and the location perfect. We will be back one day!

“Fabulous Honeymoon Villa”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013 for a stay in June 2013

We booked Villa Zouzouni for our honeymoon and read all the reviews, it did not let us down. What you see is what you get, a fabulous place, very well finished and a delight to stay in. Tasso and Shari were excellent hosts and available if we needed them but very discreet at other times.

The pool is small, but big enough to cool off and can be accesses from every room in the house with a fabulous view. The villa is not totally secluded as there are 2 other villas, but the design of all three villas allows complete privacy and a fabulous view with a great sunset....we had indented to eat out more but found it hard to tear ourselves away. A lovely place for total relaxation and quality time. 2 minor points, the cleaner did not clean the villa on some of the days and the designer armchairs in the lounge look great but are not very comfy or honeymoon friendly. The villa is close to 2 beaches and Antipata and Fiskardo are only short drives away. Boat hire in Fiskardo is a must! The Taverna Odysee is a 10 minute (downhill) walk away and offers lovely home cooked food, there is no menu just ask what Mum is cooking and it all tastes great! Agia Yirsualem is a lovely little beach and the waters are calm and a delight to swim in. Alaties is a much smaller bay with turquoise waters and a hidden gem. It now has a nice bar/restaurant serving lovely food and cocktails at sunset.

“A stunning secluded honeymoon location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2013 for a stay in May 2013

We stayed at Villa Zouzouni for our honeymoon week in late May 2013. The villa is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a very relaxed secluded honeymoon. Very modern with amazing attention to detail, highlight being the private infinity pool which actually comes inside the villa. The terrace is wonderful, bathed in sun all day and the sunsets are simply stunning! I loved the uninterrupted view over the sea, watching the odd yacht sailing past in the distance every now and again. The villa was all prepared for us on arrival and we soon met Tasso & Shari (with a celebratory magnum of prosecco in hand) who were brilliant hosts with a wealth of local information. The villa and pool were cleaned every other day, by very discrete cleaning staff. Oh and there is very reliable wireless, a large flat screen TV, sound system, dishwasher and washing machine (in villa basement). The villa is a short drive to a couple of good shops for wine and provisions, and Fiscardo is about 10 mins drive further. There are local taxis who all knew the location of Villa Zouzouni and were reasonably priced, allowing for a couple of fun evenings in Fiscardo. I highly recommend renting a boat in Fiscardo and cruising over to Ithaki or discovering stunning nearby clear water coves. Don’t miss the nearby Dafnoudi beach, very secluded and absolutely stunning, ask Tasso & Shari for directions. Zouzouni was perfect and we could not recommend it highly enough, we would loved to have stayed another week.

“Excellent location, beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013 for a stay in October 2011

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was perfect (unlike the weather!) The owner was easy to contact and flexible with our demands...it was easy to find despite being off the beaten track. The villa itself is immaculate, cool, and sits on a hillside overlooking the sea. Try walking down to the beach for lunch (you may want to drive as it is a bit of a walk back) Bed was great, comfortable. The pool is big enough for two. The owners of Oddysea reaturant don't have a menu, they just recommend what to eat, and then cook it for you. So all the food is fresh and great for takeaway back at the villa or to sit and eat on the beach.
Fiskardo is only down the road so we had plenty of options for eating out. Kefalonia is beautiful, but the weather turned in October, and the whole island was a bit dead so try and go before the season ends.
Really can't recommend it enough.

“This Villa is absolutely perfect in every way.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2012 for a stay in May 2012

This Villa is absolutely perfect in every way. The design, the location, the view, the stylish yet simple interior, not to mention the amazing infinity pool (which can be accessed from every room in the Villa). This secluded sanctuary is now somewhere we hope to find time visit once a year; there really is no need to go anywhere else!

If you want to completely relax, read, swim, eat, drink, sunbath, this is the location. The local fishing village of Fiskardo is not only picture perfect but great for hiring boats, eating in the variety of harbour side restaurants and drinking cocktails. The Villa owners (Shari and Tasso) are lovely too. We cannot recommend this place enough!

“Exceptionally well designed villa, in private and stunning location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2012 for a stay in June 2012

To avoid missing out on a special vacation my first recommendation to anyone interested in this villa is to ignore the only bad reviewer and listen to what the majority of folk say about Zouzouni and the other two properties rented out by Tasso and Shari. Villa Zouzouni is an exceptionally well designed villa in a great location, which offers peace and quiet, wonderful sunsets and sea views, and is perfect for couples who want some quality time to themselves.

There are two pleasant beaches with good tavernas within a five minute drive and easy access to Fiscardo which is about 15 minutes away. There are lots of other good tavernas and beaches closeby, and the famous Myrtos beach and picturesque village of Assos are about 30 minutes away. Even so you will still want to spend lots of time at the villa with its interesting inside outside pool and thought provoking art installations.

Tasso and Shari were the perfect hosts. They make sure you have everything you need without being intrusive and make you feel at home from the moment you arrive.

“Totally ruined by owner”

My wife & I stopped here in Aug 2010. We booked through Exclusive Escapes (who I believe no longer offer this villa). Every time we went out the owner let themselves into the villa and moved our things around, they also opened the welcome letter from Exclusive Escapes which was clearly addressed to us. The Villa itself is nice but, in my opinion, overpriced and you deffinitely need a car as the location is halfway up a mountain. There are loads of wasps which makes eating outside impossible
