“Pork loin in Ameretti cream sauce yum yum !”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

Ate out in Fiskardo a few times and to be honest we were going a bit stir crazy as all the harbour side restaurants seemed much of a muchness , so we ventured out to The Old Stone House. It is a traditional Greek taverna on the roadside, somebody commented on "roadside fumes" , we visited this taverna about four times and you rarely get more than 4 cars an hour passing by ! I thought it far surpassed the restaurants in Fiskardo which are mainly aimed at the yachting fraternity and tourists......
If you want to eat under vines with bunches of grapes hanging down and have Greek people as well as tourists around you and very pleasant staff serving delicious food then this is the place to go . Most memorable meals were Greek cheese pies with a delicious potato salad, pork loin in a wonderful Ameretti cream sauce, beautiful Greek salads etc etc .
Go on give it a try, its in a small village about two miles before Fiskardo .The carafes of wine both red and white went down very well too , prices were approximately 30 to 40 euros for two people including starters, main courses and two half litre carafes of wine .

“Lovely meal,”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013 via mobile

We found this place 3 miles
Down the road from where we were
Staying. It is such good value so much cheaper than fiskardo and the food is excellent. A wide choice and has a specials menu as well. Only downside it is on the roadside but it didn't really bother us at all. Would love to go back there again

“Great unpretentious food which saves the trek into Fiscardo”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013 via mobile

This is a very busy restaurant so might be worth reserving or going early. Only two waiting staff but despite the large number of tables they had to cover, the service was friendly and efficient. Food is simple but tasty, homemade and very good value for money. I wish we had gone more than once during our week's stay.

“Traditional local restaurant in antipata”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2013 via mobile

Have seen this place develop over several years , family run, very pleasant staff, good food, warm welcome, eat there a lot it is simple and honest, the decor is rustic and attractive. The food is always good and home cooked, the owners , the family all pitch in to make this a memorable dinner. It's not glitzy like some places in fiskardo but we always enjoy eating there an watching the world go by. For some who like more sophistication this may not be your thing but the family are so welcoming and food and ambience attractive then forget sophistication , special dish is kleftico very well done indeed
