“Great for family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

Beautiful nature around, nice stuff, you can buy great wine/ chianti and olive oil. Location is great for exploring Tuscany, cause to all known towns quite close/30 km, Pisa is 65 km. In summer time you can use outside pool and sitting in shadow infront the house.

I would highly recommend San Carlo. This was our first holiday in Tuscany and we were not disappointed with our stay at San Carlo. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We had breakfast every morning as we enjoyed the cakes so much. The evening meals we had were very nice and enjoyed sampling the Tuscan food. There are wonderful views of the Tuscan hills. We were made to feel welcome by all the family who run the property and will definitely go back again.

Our first time in Tuscany and we have chosen San Carlo and without any regrets! A warm welcome, very kind family, good appartment in a beautiful and well maintained garden. All of this in the beautiful Tuscan landscape with beatiful views from the property. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool and so did we! The Italian diner on Tuesday was lovely, it is a pity that it is only a once in a week opportunity to enjoy such a nice meal....
Everybody is very flexible; we had for instance a guest who stayed with us for a couple of nights and it was no problem whatsoever.
We would recommend this accomodation to anyone who likes to be in a nice and quiet surrounding.

We enjoyed our stay at San Carlo, the place is based central of Tuscany. Nice houses and nice garden and a pool to have a swim, when temperature is “hot”. The place is close to nice villages, restaurants and the local supermarket. The family helps you when you need information or suggesting to daytrips. The weekly dinner at San Carlo is a must to participate in - you will not regret.....
Can also recommend this place if you like to bike (race or mountain bike) and if you are lucky you can have a training with the local cycling club. Don’t forget to visit the local butcher ”Mucci” or have a swim in flood close to San Carlo.
Easy to reach Siena or Florence, but as other has recommended use GPS..........we will be back :-)

I have been to Tuscany for years and I have never found another place which is better than "I Reucci" ! The residence is located in the middle of big fields between grass lands, wineyards and woods. All these colour contrasts are so beautiful to watch. The owners are very friendly and they welcome you in a way that they make you feel like home !! The food and drink that you can taste once a week at "la cena" was delicious. I highly recommend this place to anybody who wants to discover Tuscany, tastes regional products and stays in a very welcomy place ! See you next year for sure !

We booked and stayed in Agriturismo SanCarlo towards end of June. The place is in the middle of the countryside of Tuscany. Beautiful local for a restful holiday. Great to visit nearby places. Villterra 30 minutes, San Gimignano 65minutes, Siena 70 minutes, Florence 90 minutes and Pisa 90 minutes away. Go for day trips away. The site was very rustic in character, pool, table tennis, boules, walking paths. Our flat was great and easy to keep clean. Overall we had a good time there. Family run place, very friendly great people. GPS is a must.....
