We were particularly disappointed with this visit as this place is normally where we look forward to going. I think, like i mentioned in another local restaurant review, there is a general malaise and apathy amongst waiting staff at this low period in February. It is infectious and really makes or breaks your visit. This visit was made at 5pm and the placed was about to close at 6pm. The waiter, a young lad, who served us, had a face like a smacked bum. Ive never seen such pain and misery on a waiters face before. In fact it was so bad it made us giggle. Food fine though. Chicken piri piri at E9.50 was good. Would return on a sunnier summers day though as the location is second to none..right on the beach, literally. We'll put this down to the time of the year. Cant be much fun when customers are thin on the ground.
