A Concha used to be ok but things have changed. Stylish rooftop terrace, new menus....but it's down hill the rest of the way.
The muscle starter was swimming in a sea of molten butter masquerading as a sauce. The skate wing with garlic was actually garlic with skate wing. There must have been at least 6 cloves sliced and very lightly cooked swimming in oil. Somewhere underneath was a small price of overcooked skate.
The Portuguese sausage balls were ok.
Sadly it got worse withe the mains. Despite being told the stuffed crab was stuffed with crab, it wasn't. The crab meat was removed and replaced with what can only be described as supermarket cheese sandwich filling which seemed to comprise mayo, cheese and chives. DIRE!
The seared tuna was dry and overcooked. The pork tenderloin was tough....how one acheives this is beyond me.
The wine was good but I suspect that was because the chef hadn't been near it.
The waiters were great, I feel sorry for them having to present customers with this food.
Finally this place is way overpriced.
