“Now well established and a favourite for all regular visitors”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

I love a fabrica. The food is not your regular pre made and heated up, it's all freshly made on the premises. The cafe lunch menu is a wide range of rlight tasty snacks, all a notch above the nearby hot dog and burger choice, and the evening restaurant menu is fine dining at its best. Portions are generous and food quality is excellent. And in addition, the presentation of the food is as good as I've seen in any major city quality restaurant. I would highly recommend this restaurant, which only opened a couple of years ago but already has the feel of a well run establishment which is here for the long term. I'm already looking forward to bringing friends on my next visit to luz! One word, if you're bringing very young kids, lunchtime is probably best, as dinner is good food, not fast food. They do however have a lovely three course kids menu, mirroring the adult one, for only euro10. Adult prices are average for the area so excellent value in terms of what you get.

“Great imaginative food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013

Always busy, we chanced our luck one evening in a very busy restaurant and the owner offered us a table in 10 - 15 mins so we took a walk along the front. By the time we got back there was our table " resarvado" ! Great menu but hard to decide what to have with so much great choice - delicious sea food starter and stuffed pork as a main, didn't disappoint! Reasonable cost and really nice surroundings - we will be back !

“Wonderful food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013 via mobile

We have visited this restaurant a few times and are never disappointed. There was 8 of us in total on this visit. We chose the couvert to start with and was so impressed with the amazing home made pâté and fresh warm rolls. I had the duck as my main course which was cooked perfectly. I thoroughly recommend the carrot cake for dessert which is the best I have ever tasted. The children's 3 course menu is really good value at 10€. Overall beautiful food and a lovely atmosphere.

“Great food and Cakes!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

This is a great cafe/restaurant, just off the beach. Some lovely dishes on the menu, my absolute favourites were the Portuguese specials - the stuffed squid was amazing! and the home made desserts (I tried the raspberry champagne jelly and a warm chocolate cake with ice cream)! Friendly staff and good value.

“Fantastic Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

Visited this restaurant with family and friends after our friends had visited numerous times before. Not disappointed. You must have the Couvert to start, home made pate's and bread, olives etc, absolutely beautiful. Had the Fabrica Burger on one of my visits, prob one of the best burgers ever tasted. See you next year.
