I was here with some friends in early July 2013. We were a bit rushed so just picked somewhere. With hindsight this was a mistake. The food was ok but no better than ok. It's run by an English family who were very welcoming and pleasant but the food was just not great. Frozen Calamari, pretty average ribs, nothing fresh or Portugese. Such a shame this close to the sea to offer frozen Calamari!
I guess they cater for the ex pat community / English holiday makers. So if you're looking for an average English pub type meal then fine. If you were hoping for something tasty or Portugese, try somewhere else. Concha restaurant on the seafront is probably your best bet if you want a nice meal.
