I want to touch on the positives first. The food that we ordered was good. It's expensive for what it is, but enjoyable. And the view is spectacular. That's it.
The service is so poor that I would question any returning customers' sanity. The restaurant was packed and that was when we arrived at 7.30, but looked well staffed so didn't give us any cause for concern. The one waitress that took our order was the only only that I won't complain about. Our drinks came shortly after ordering them but our main course took considerably longer and when we came to ordering dessert, that's when things really went downhill.
We waited close to an hour for them. We asked what looked like the senior member of staff there as to where they were and weren't even given an apology but he soon disappeared with the hope being that he would sort it out. 25 mins passed and we asked a waitress who was rude and basically said we only ordered them a short time before (I put her straight by saying 45 mins is not a short time, especially not for chocolate mousse that has already been prepared). 10 mins later we asked for the bill from the senior waiter as nothing had arrived to be given no apology or excuse as to why and soon leaving after paying he gave a small shrug and said sorry to which I replied that this had been a terrible experience, he rudely shot back - what, just because of the missing desserts? As if this is perfectly acceptable other wise. When I said that the level of service had been atrocious he simply gave me a look of disdain and waved me off. Disgusting way to treat paying guests. We weren't alone either - there were another 2 tables that complained about the slow food (one where the wife had been rudely spoken to by an aggressive waitress and another where one member of the table received their order once the others had finished theirs).
They must be doing so well to be so unconcerned with their level of service, especially in what I understand are grave economic times.
Do yourselves a favour and give this over priced hellhole a miss.
