“Excellent Facilites!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2010

Returned today from a 2 wk family holiday. 23 persons from 18mths to 76 yrs. Hotel catered for everyone with excellent complex facilities including 3 pools, 1 with slides, 1 for smaller children and a top pool for adults. Receptions area is very grand with big open floor with couches everywhere. Upstairs bar on same level as reception and has plenty of sitting areas of an evening with bar until 1pm (free till 12pm). Everything is in 1 area so kids can go to the park which is in between 2 of the pools or walk around the complex in a safe environment. Beach was flat with pebble/sandy and had more than enough sun beds. Got busy around some of the other pools from 10am (earlier if you went out at 8am like some and put towells out which is embarassing as mainly the english!) Food was top end of 4* with plenty of pasta, pizza's, meat in sauces, salads etc. Good breakfast from cereal to pancakes and snack bar open by the beach from 11am - 6pm then opened from 9.30-12pm which had pizza, pasta, chips, salad, ice creams and bar. Previous reviews regarding diet drinks were true but they now had this resolved on our 2nd week so no probs with diet coke. The usual on site animation team which tried very hard to entertain everyone with nightly shows, Sat nights they bring in greek dancers which were really good and most some nights a singer/jazz player on at the beach bar. I believe the facilities for a greek all inclusive hotel were very good and would recommend this hotel to all as we are well travelled and this is 1 of the best greek hotels we have stayed in and would return with no doubts. All hotel staff were very nice and nothing was any trouble. Rooms cleaned daily with towells/linen changed regularly and family room was large with sliding doors to seperate from 2 single beds/sitting area. We attended a family wedding in St Pauls Bay which was lovely and then ate in a small taverna in Lardos (5 Euro in taxi) 'Valentinas" which was very nice although there is only a few bars in Lardos. Pefkos is only 10 mins walk away which has a lot more bars, restaurants etc if you fancy a change and Lindos a taxi ride away (14Euro).

Enjoyed a week here in May, our first all inclusive holiday. We were very impressed by the service provided by all the staff. The standard of food was excellent and we always looked forward to our meals.
We would return again at the same time of year as the hotel was not overcrowed and we prefer the cooler temperatures.
One of the enjoyable features for us was the mixture of nationalities, everyone was friendly but not intrusive.
The location was slightly isolated but not a problem as there was a regular bus service outside the hotel. Car hire was available at excellent rates in the hotel lobby.

Just returned from a 10 night stay at this hotel and wish it could have been longer. The grounds and rooms were immaculate and we were fortunate to have rooms overlooking the beach, which provided a stunning and convenient setting for our party of 5 adults and 2 young children. It was an ideal place for a family holiday with something for everyone. There was never a shortage of sunbeds and even though the buffet restaurant was quite busy, the staff were always helpful and there was a good selection of hot and cold food to cater for all tastes. The entertainment was varied again with something for everyone, although I must admit we did mostly enjoy a very lazy break and didn't become too involved. The entertainment team worked really hard to keep everyone happy and a nice personal touch was the effort they made to speak to guests individually. A big thank you also to the staff who worked extremely hard behind the scenes to maintain the rooms and grounds - the flowers were spectacular and the rooms and public areas were always clean. We stayed in a family room which was ideal as unlike others with pull out beds etc, this had 2 separate sleeping areas which could be separated by a double door. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would certainly visit again

We stayed here mid-May 2010 after booking through Thomas Cook. We arrived late at around 1.00am following a delayed flight. We were reassured that all 3 rooms were together, however when we woke up the next morning they were probably the worst situated rooms in the hotel. overlooking the carpark and the service area where the rubbish was stored and collected. We asked to be moved, which the hotel did and we were moved to the other side of the hotel which was fine. The hotel itself is large and stretches rom the road ( and entrance do2n to the beach). The hotel reception was very clean and modern. The swimming pools were lovely but obviously developed with children in mind. IN fact if you want to avoid children, then you need to avoid this hotel as it is very popular with families. We had a number of small problems which didn't affect our stay, and compliments to the hotel for sorting them out very quickly. But we did have 4 issues to resolve in one week which was too many.

The food was very nice, although sometimes a little repetitive, but then it was all inclusive.

The staff were lovely especially the receptrion staff who must have got tired of seeing us. Restaurant staff were also great and friendly, but the pool bar staff Manuela (?) and Vlecja (?) were our favourites.

Would we stay there again? Wouldn't oppose it, but more likely to choose a hotel with less kids runnning around.

WOW what a hotel, my only gripe was that they did not cater for diabetics, there was no diet or sugar free drinks at all apart from water....You can only drink so much water in a day!!! I ended up buying my own diet coke from the supermarket....I did ask for diet coke and they supplied it with meals for 2 days and then said they could not do this anymore? I seriously think they need to supply at least one diet/sugar free drink.

We had a very enjoyable stay the amination team are extremley friendly, always willing to help!

Room safe 20 Euro's per week
Room for extra 3 hours before departure 20 Euro's
Massage 45 Euro's

Beach and pool towels provided if lost 15 Euro's each

All staff around the hotel were very friendly and really appreciate if you try and learn the lingo basics.

Overall an absolute stunning hotel for rest and relaxation, we would recommend this hotel to friend and relations.

Night time entertainment not very good but we did go at the beginning of the season, maybe it gets better?

Brilliant holiday

Dear Sir/ Madame,

Thank you very much for your feedback witch is extremely valuable for us.
It was of great interest to read your review and you certainly pointed out an area which we could improve – and we have! From now on we are serving diet and sugar free drinks in several areas of the hotel.

Regarding your remark concerning the nightlife entertainment, you were correct. You stayed at the very beginning of the season; the entertainment programme is getting fuller during the season. Again, your comment was discussed at our Management meeting and we are taking it into consideration.

We are glad that you enjoyed your stay here at Lindos Princess. If you are planning to come back in the future, please let us know. It would be a pleasure to welcoming you in person

Kind Regards,

Lindos Princess Management

Have just spent a week in this resort and have had a great time. We were really pleased when we arrived and saw the impressive entrance leading through to a spectacular reception. All staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room was bright and airy with a large balcony that had views of the sea and pools. Food was good, some cooked as you waited and plenty of choice. Entertainment was the only thing we felt could have been improved but it was the end of season. Would recommend to all.
