“good value half hour trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Good trip / reasonable value (cheaper thru rep than there 8E vs 10E). Go by car or trip as not much else there and buses infrequent.

“Interesting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

Worth a visit just for the views. The is a island with a house in it. It sold for 33 million euros 3 yrs ago. Danni Minogue used it for the x factor contestants a few years ago. Worth a look.

“Good caves”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

These caves are worth a visit although they did not seem to be on a bus route, so you may need a hire car to reach them. Tours are approximately every half an hour and there is a seated waiting area with a lovely view, snack bar, toilets and small gift shop. Tickets were 10 euros per adult (in 2012). The tour lasts about 40 minutes starting with a ten-minute walk to the entrance. The guide tries his best to describe the cave in numerous languages, although it is difficult to hear, so just enjoy the views. Generally, an enjoyable visit and the owners have made good use of lighting to improve the attraction.

“Good for kids”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

We walked here from Balansat. The kids really enjoyed it. The caves are very interesting and it's a relatively cheap trip to do.

“False tour advertisement - Its a simple small cave”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

On our tour of the island we decided to check out this cave as it was advertised on one of the maps. Tickets were sold on the spot for 10 Euros (no student/senior discounts) and it included a 40 minutes guided tour of the cave.
What we got was 5 minutes of delay at the beginning of the tour, then a 2 minute walk to the cave entrance. Then 15 minutes waiting in front of the entrance (closed) for the guide to arrive. the guide spoke English and Spanish for the beginning of the tour. How? She divided us into two groups (Engl + Esp) so one group was looking around on their own and would get the explanations before of after that. It was a mess and many more facts were explained in Spanish. After a while, the guide almost ignored the English speaking and continued to chat in Spanish. There was a 5 min stop for the "sound & light show" which is not spectacular at all, especially knowing it is completely human set up. Shortly after that the tour finished and lasted in total 35 minutes, including the original delay. Even if the guiding was done properly, I would not recommend it to anyone that has ever visited a cave before.
