“#Great Maasai Mara Safari Experience#”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

We booked a safari to the Maasai Mara on the first week of July with Diani Travel centre. Initially we wanted to do a different camp but Felix and Hellen advised us to do Ashnil Mara Camp. They advised us that the camp's food and services are awesome. Everything was planned and arranged according to details and we were received at the Mara by our tour guide David. David is a really nice person and well knowledgeable about all the animals and birds at the Mara National Reserve. He was kind and answered every question directed to him with much professionalism and etiquette. We managed to see the great migration of the wildebeest and to our surprise back home we met other tourist in the plane from Mara who hsad booked with other companies and they intimidated to us that they didn't witness the migration. The services and food at the camp are fantastic and out of this world. We thank Diani Travel Centre and especially Felix and Hellen for giving us this memorable safari. We recommend everyone visiting Kenya from any part of the world to contact Diani Travel Centre for a memorable experience and value for their money. The staff there are very warm, kind and knowledgeable and they will go out of their way to make your safari a memorable one.

“Professional, friendly and reliable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

On returning to Kenya after some years, we contacted a number of travel companies, looking for help and advice. Bruce and his team at Diani Travel Centre were by far the easiest company to do business with. We found them highly efficient. Their knowledge is extensive and worth listening to. We were more than satisfied with our safari to the North Mara Conservancy, not only did we find the lodge Bruce recommend excellent, but we were more than satisfied by the personal service offered transferring us between hotel and airstrip. It is also worth noting that the Diani Travel Centre team will negotiate an excellent price for you - despite what your UK travel company may tell you, we used exactly the same flights and lodges, but at a fraction of the cost (LESS THAN HALF PRICE) of our travel company's equivalent safari. When we return to Kenya (and we will), we will certainly use the services of the Diani Travel Centre, whether we are based on the coast or not.

“Our 3rd Safari booked with Diani Travel Centre”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2013

We've booked 2 safaris previously with the staff at Diani Travel Centre and they were both superb so when we decided to go back to Diani Beach again, we knew where to go to arrange the safari. I emailed them a couple of weeks before we arrived with some information of what we wanted and they got back to me quickly with some details.
When we went in to the centre, all the staff remembered us and were very welcoming. They spent time discussing what we wanted and provided us with suggestions and alternatives. We took the information away and a couple of days later went back to book it. There was no pressure at any time.
We asked for the safari guide that we had previously, Kevin, as he had been excellent and he took us on another adventure. Kevin speaks excellent English, kind, helpful, is very knowledgable and keen to show guests as much wildlife as possible. Superb.
Our first lodge was Galdessa. It's a fantastic tented lodge on the banks of a fast flowing river but it was a very long drive from the entrance of Tsavo East. There were hippos in the river, a large crocodile on the opposite bank and loads of lizards and geckos running around. The tent was very luxurious with a view over the river, very clean and close to the main lodge. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast there and the food was amazing. There was so much at lunch that we asked them to do smaller portions for dinner! We had 5 courses for dinner including fillet steak which was some of the best that I've ever had - Amazing.
The following morning we could see foot prints ourside of our tent and found out that it's the path the hippos use to get back in the river in the morning. We didn't hear a thing.
Leaving there we saw a hippo up close as it tried to find it's way back to the river, again, it was amazing.
From there we then travelled in to Tsavo West and headed for Severin Safari Camp. We stayed there last time and it was brilliant. It was being refurbished but you wouldn't know unless somebody told you, it was all well hidden. Again, we had lunch, dinner and breakfast there and the food was lovely. In the afternoon we chilled by the pool and appreciated the peace and quiet. Our evening game drive took us out and about and then up to Poachers Lookout overlooking the plains below. Whilst up there we drank sparkling wine and ate canapes whilst watching the sunset next to a very clear Kilimanjaro. As it was my 50th birthday, it was so special. On return to the camp, my bed had been decorated with flowers wishing me a happy birthday, it must have taken somebody hours to do. Dinner that evening was again 5 courses and brilliant. Then to top it all off, I was given a birthday cake too. The whole day was the best that I've ever had.
We had a full day on the final day and arrived back at the hotel in Diani at about 1830 hours.
So all in all, Diani Travel Centre arranged it all for us and gave us an absolutely brilliant 3 day safari. The whole experience exceeded our expectations.
I can't praise the team at Diani Travel Centre enough and would definately recommend them for all bespoke safari's and other tours.
Many thanks to Bruce, Kevin and the team in the office.
