John, Dominique were great. Always making sure everything was running as smooth as on ball bearings. Stanley and Lawrence were always there to serve us with anything we might have desired. Asha is absolutely stunning, from the decor to the location. The wine selection is quite good but it is possible to bring your own bottle of wine for a small corkage fee. The Chef definitely knows is business, impossible to point out any flaws in his food. All in all, it is highly recommended to anyone who has standards, no matter how high these might be. Everyone at Asha made our week-end a dream... Thank you all at Asha. Hopefully we will be returning as soon as possible.

This was a great place for a relaxing or seaside activity holiday. It is situated right on a glorious sandy beach with its own fresh-water pool. An outrigger canoe with a fisherman-pilot is available to take you to the best snorkeling spots half an hour away. The restaurant serves excellent fresh local food and the bar is in a games room equipped with a snooker table. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms so that mosquito nets are not needed. Nearby there is scuba diving, water sports and a hilltop game reserve – but you might just want to relax by the pool under the coconut trees or in the abundant garden and watch the colobus monkeys, birds and koi carp!

We stayed with John/Dominique (owners) in Diani and have never felt such a welcome. The facility, the location and the people/staff are simply wonderful. How many places can you stay where the fisherman takes a small boat out to sea and shows up in an hour with your dinner for the evening? The hosts are fabulous, the setting is stunning and swimming next to the white sand beaches was icing on the cake. The owners also have a huge grasp on Kenya and will guide you in a safe reliable direction and will provide great conversation over a drink by the pool or coffee over the sunrise. GREAT FIND!

Asha Cottage is truly amazing - just 5 big rooms, an amazing pool, right on the Indian Ocean, we spent most days reading, eating delicious food and drinking great cocktails (!) and just taking it easy. John and Dominique, the owners, are great hosts and are at hand to organise anything from snorkelling, diving, kite surfing to safaris of course. It's quiet, relaxed and intimate. A real treat!
