“dont fly strategic!!!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2011

We hadnt been abroad for seven years and to fly with strategic would put anybody off going abroad again!!!!!! It was definitely one of the oldest of the fleet, shabby chairs trays that werent straight and hardly any leg room, having said that our stay at the Alamis was briliiant we stayed for two weeks from 4-18 sept 2011, the rooms where clean but basic,I think the self catering equipmentshould be upgraded if we wanted to use the kettle and the oven together we couldnt due to there being only one socket!!! The rooms where cleaned every other day and the staffwhere very friendly and helpful, the location was brilliant Kostas in Jolly Roger was briliiant and the bar staff at the Alamiswhere also very friendly, would definitely stay there again but wouldnt go with Olympic holidays.

I stayed at the alamis this september for a week. The location is amazing only 2 mins to the beach and 2 mins up the road to the town! We stayed in a studio over looking the gardens at the back. The room was basic but clean, and had everything you needed. The only downside was the shower, you had to hold it up yourself which i found awkward. Apart from that i cannot fault the accomodation at all! The pool was lovely and the pool bar was the cheapest we found in tsilivi.

Overall I would definatly return to the alamis and i would reccomend it to any of my customers. As for tsilivi i thought it was beautiful. The beach was perfect you could walk out for ages which is great if youve got kids and theres plenty of resturants and shops in the town. Would recommend georgio's for a nice evening meal. the staff are lovely and the food is out of this world.

Stayed here in July 2010, 2 adults, i child and 1 teenager. great location and accomodation was basic but good value for money.
Cant comment on the Olympic rep as didnt interact with them, toured the island and got out and about, beautiful place. Hotel pool lovely and clean and bar and pool area clean, tidy and everything you need.
Room was basic but clean and had what we needed, didnt really use the kitched much as we ate out all the time.
Would def stay there again, kids loved it too.

Room Tip: we had 2 bed apartment on front of building,

Having read the reviews on the Alamis apartments I have to admit not telling my husband where we were going in case he googled it. So with a big pot of trepidation we set off on our jollidays. The flights were absolutely awful!!! Try not to fly Stategic Airlines if you can help it.

I was totally surprised when we arrived that actually it was a lovely little place that was clean and ALL staff were really nice. I think it has alot to do with how you interact with them .... Be pleasant and they are pleasant back and very helpful.

The room was basic and the shower was smurf sized which did cause a few issues for my 6 foot hubby :). They were cleaned daily with towels and sheets changed twice ... I don't change mine at home daily why do some expect it when on holiday?

Location was fantastic 2 min walk from the beach and 1 min walk from the main town and the nightlife bit far enough away so the noise doesnt bother you.

All in all this is a great little place for using as a base for a great holiday on a beautiful island.

Stayed at the Alamis 1st -15th Sept. this year, thought it was o.k. as we have been to many Greek Islands and stayed in B & B hotels and self catering acommodations 3 star. I must say the rooms at the Alamis were cleaned every other day, bed linen and towel change also every other day and nice white fluffy towels, makes a change!! Tsivili was a lovely place to stay. Hired a jeep to go round the island, such a beautiful Island, turquoise seas, blue caves. Quite a few traditional Greek Restaurants down towards the sea front but in town itself it was a bit like "Blackpool" - I thought it catered too much for the brits!! If you go to Greece you do as the greeks do!!! eat greek food and listen to greek music not watch footy, X factor and each fish and chips you can do that at home - some sad people in this world!!

Room Tip: We were located on the top floor Room 16C on the left hand side overlooking Planos appartments and w...

We have just returned from the Alamis & were pleasantly surprised after reading a few reviews. We had a one bedroomed apartment on the 1st floor which consisted of a small bathroom, a kitchen/sleeping area (single& pull out bed) & separate double bedroom with balcony. The room was clean on arrival & maintained throughout our stay.Bedding & towels changed once during our weeks stay (acceptable) air-conditioning recommended (50 euros per week).Accommodation typicaly Greek basic but clean value for money! Alamis for us was ok - 2 adults +17year old son. We had a 2 bedroom clean but basic apartment (208) luckily as we wouldn't have fit into a 1 bedroomed as the balcony is the living room so no setee! We don't go to cook so wasn't bothered about the little kitchen or cooking facilities - a kettle is enough. The shower is made for dwarves but just sit down to wash hair - floor dries quick anyway! The doors were double lock which kept outside noise out. 50 euros air con - 20 security box + 10 deposit. Pool clean and nice sunbeds. Beach is 2 mins away - Boomerang cafe on beach for best breakfast. Giorgios best for evening meals although we didn't have bad food anywhere. Went to Zante Town - wouldn't advise anyone else to bother going there. Didn't do trips, just went to the lovely warm, clean sea and swam with the fishes then sunbathed. We went for the sun ! First time in Greece and was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was as we expected dirty after reading some of the reviews. You can use any hotel pools and sunbeds which really helps when you are walking around. There is a very small weights gym in the Planos apartments next door which kept our son happy - we were charged 10 euros for the week but i think it should have been free ! He also used the internet cafe on the main street - 2 euros for about 20 minutes. If we did go back to Alamis it would have to be in the 2 bedroomed apartment, but Tsilivi in general is a nice little get away from it all place.

Room Tip: 2 bedroom apartment 208 was ours, overlooking the pool.
