As other travellers have said the journey was horrendous and we were dropping people off in Icmelor and had to drive around for about an hour as the driver didn't know where he was going so all in our journey from airport took 4 hours. The hotel is lovely but could do with a good manager as it is all trivial things which could be rectified i.e. never had hot (or even warm) water the whole week no plugs for bath or basin food very repetitive and not a lot of it.
I have been to Turkey twice before and was looking forward to our meals as I enjoyed them before but the MY Meric was a great disappointment. All the staff were friendly except at the reception where they just didn,t want to know. It is such a shame as it is a lovely hotel and the location is perfect.
We went on the trip to Rhodes and it turned out another nightmare with no packed lunches (we had to miss breakfast) then our pickup didn't arrive I had to phone so we were an hour late in leaving then got shouted at to hurry up as the ferry was waiting for us when we finally arrived at the harbour in Marmaris.
needless to say when we arrived back from Rhodes there was no transport waiting for us and after getting a gentleman who worked at the harbour to make phone calls the minibus arrived an hour later to take us back. The transfers were terrible and nobody seemed to care. Don't think I will be back which is a shame as it was such a lovely place

Hotel clean and staff good. Facilities poor. After being out in the sun we went to get showered and changed for evening out , but on 4 occasions there was no water in our rooms from floors 7 to 10.Most inconvenient when water runs out and you are covered in shower gel.The lifts were often out of order a long climb up to our 7th floor. The resteraunt was very very poor.The bread in morning was often stale,1 choice of cheap cereal.Lunch was often left overs from previous evening. The evening meal was only 1 choice apart from watery soup and salad no choice of desert.We ate out of the hotel as it was so poor most evenings,but there were plenty of other complaints. When complained to manager he was rude and unhelpful.rep denise tried her best to help with complaints. We would only class the hotel as 2 star for food .Resort was beautiful and would go back , but not to this hotel Nice resteraunts in Turunc and locals friendly. Nice 5 star hotel in Icmeler , We looked at it for our next holiday.

after a 3 and a half hour journey first impression is clean spacious rooms but going down to breakfast started to change our minds boiled egg cornflakes overdone omelettes loads of salad and dressings (for breakfast ?)and sliced spicy sausages who ever thinks this exceptable for choice has not gone to very many all inclusives as for the one bar that kept on running out of things and not bothering to replenish them was unbelievable no kids club as advertised no entertainment no real bar to sit round in the evening and when they wanted to close bar for an hour there was uproar all inclusive stated 10 till 23.00 not any breaks inbetween we ended up spending nearly as much again what we had paid for the holiday eating out and getting entertainment 4 star not worthy of 1 star

Before i start this review i would just like to add im not one to moan about small problems at hotels,
i have been to turkey many times and know wot to expect from most not all turkish hotels,

The transfer to turunc was just the start, the driver didnt know were he was going we spent an hour driving round ichmiler trying to find the other travelers hotels, at 4am this is not at all funny i can tell u, when we did start are journey to turunc its up and over the mountain this takes about half an hour from ichmiler on roads that are basic with huge drops of the side , so if ya dont like heights this is not for u,
the hotel was clean and tidy, the staff very friendly if treated right ie make friends with them remember they dont wanna be there either they do a 16 hour shift for little money and no breaks bare this in mine treat them with respect and they will look after u well,
the food is bland boring and its the same crap day after day,
there is plenty of beer and vodka at the pool bar but there was very loud music playing for the first days around the bar not ideal if ya wanna sleep and relax by the pool,
we had a room overlooking the street this is not ideal as all the bars below compeat for custom with very loud music til 1am and most dont close til later, so if ya gonna stay here be aware its not great its not the best,
here are a few of the problems we had,
free room safe didnt work,
air con was a joke,
freezing cold showers!!! no hot water,
fridge was as warm as the room,
no one sorted these problems after much complaining
dont stay here u wont like it!!
shame as turunc is nice the beach and bars are great just spoilt by the stay at my meric,
