Our B&B in Fussen had a brochure for this attraction and we made the hour drive here. The drive was definitely worth it! Breitachklamm is a narrow canyon that has hiking trails throughout and surrounding. The alpine nature here was amazing: the power of the water, the beauty of the canyon, the trees and fields. The cool mist in the canyon made this an enjoyable hike in the warm summer.
There are several "end points," where you can turn around or make a loop back to the beginning. We looped back at Muller's Alpe (2 miles out) where there is a nice pub with beer and light snacks. I was introduced to a radler, which is half beer, half lemonade, very refreshing. We made the hike in tennis shoes and had no problems.
