“Beautiful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

Playa Paraiso, the total Caribbean experience. The beach is accessible by cab, for 2 pesos or by walking from Playa Sirena (which you get to by boat). The sand is white as white gets and the water is a beautiful blue color. There is a little bar where a Becks beer cost 2 pesos and a grilled lobster tail dinner is 20 pesos. The beach has no water activities, but this was perfect for us as we were there with out 9 month old baby. There are plenty of palapas for shade. The only down side is that the road to get there is very bumpy and rough. Enjoy the sand and surf.

“The walk there is invigorating”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013 via mobile

The beach is beautiful and you can get there by taxi or shuttle but if you enjoy walking the beach it is unparralled. It is about a 90 minute walk from the nearest resort. On your walk you will not see more than a half dozen others. The walk starts from a resort's clothing optional beach so you can walk au naturel almost the whole way. The walk provides a nice bit of exercise while letting the brain absorb the beauty and tranquilty. At the end of the walk the reward of a mojito or an ice cold crystal tops it all off.
