Lovely hotel set in a pretty small medieval town on top of a hill with commanding views of the countryside. Most friendly and helpful lady staff members that I have met in a long time. Great clean room with a good breakfast.

The most congenial hostess ever! The hotel is located strategically for day trips to all the towns of Tuscany and an easy train ride to Florence (1hr on the local). Rooms recently remodeled and quite comfortable. Maya and her staff are the best. Easy parking. The entrance to to the hilltop walled city of Monte San Savino across the street. Excellent restaurants in the town as well as just outside the wall Absolutely the finest accommodations in the region.

My wife and I literally stumbled on this wonderful hotel as we were touring by car in Tuscany. We were greeted warmly by Maja and Lucilla on a rainy evening. Our room was perfect, with a view of the hills to the rear and the city gate to the front. A spotless bathroom, a comfortable sitting area, and wireless internet. the following morning Maja was again on duty and had a nice continental breakfast ready with coffee and/or cappucino, pastries, juices, cheeses and more. Overall, just a perfect stay! we hope to stop there again on another trip!
