Our tourist agency booked this hotel for us and upon reading some of the not-so-lovely reviews, we were a little nervous. It wasn't glamorous, but certainly not a bad stay either. True, dinner was satisfactory, so we had some pho the following night.The basic bathroom is a standard that we found in mostly all Vietnamese bathrooms. But the room was clean and comfortable and we had a view of the bay.

he building is old and not taken care of, the rooms are dirty (stains of humidity on ceiling), the shower did not work properly (spreading water all over the bathroom) and we had problems with power (most of plugs did not work so we were unable to recharge our cell phones). Not to mention the fact that breakfast was really poor.
Upon check out we complained but the receptionist said that since we had a standard room we had nothing to complain about and when I asked to at least have two small bottles of water for free in order to compensate all these problems he threatened me not to give me back our passports if I did not pay. It is a shame!!

Worst hotel in Vietnam, Rude, sour staff, hard horrible beds, worst food in the country, terrible dining room staff and zero atmosphere to compliment the meal Filthy floors in the room and the bathroom was a joke. One night was too many but to cap the sleepless night off we were confronted with a handtowel that had actually got dirty and asked to pay for it! No return of passport until we did, huge argument ensued, they were so rude. Tour company repayed the money (not much but the principal) and then told me how not long before others were charged much more for a missing teaspoon. Ridiculous place.

The lobby is impressive, that all there is. Staff is not professional and unpolite. Rooms looks ok, the bathrooms are below any (hotel) standard, very, very basic. And then the worst, the dinner in the hotel, it was just awfull. We are foreigners, but I say many Asian tourist/visitors also not really enjoy there dinner. Very disappointing. The dinning room also has a bad acoustic. Next day the buffet breakfast was even more disgusting. I was glad to leave this hotel behind me.
