What a find! We were supposed to be staying in a friend's apartment but there was a problem with the electricity supply. After finding an internet cafe and searching laterooms.com this hotel came up as the only one nearby. I am so glad that we found it. The quality of the hotel is fantastic, and our room on the 3rd floor had 2 terraces - one was massive with a sea view! The bathroom was well fitted out with Grohe and Roca and the whole hotel has been refurbished with orange & brown (nicer than it sounds). What we really liked about this was that the Spanish holiday in this hotel and resort. The hotel is a short stroll from a lovely, safe beach and in the other direction there are many restaurants - unfortunately couldn't find an authentic spanish one!! We have just returned from the Costa Narejos Hotel after travelling their with Globespan. We found it an excellent experience, the hotel was spotless, spacious bedrooms and social areas. We were very lucky to be allocated a room on the 4th floor with magnificent views over the sea. The hotel has 4 lifts, 2 are glass fronted. Food was very good, well prepared and presented, excellent choice at breakfast ans dinner, always hot and staff ensured fresh supplies were always available.
The hotel is positioned one street back from the front which has a lovely flat prom round the whole bay. The Mar Menor is very pretty, lots of sailing boats and a boat to go over to La Manga if you wish. The water is very warm and we could swim even though it was October.

The small town has lots of nice bars and restaurants and we found all the people very friendly.
If you want the real Spain try this hotel.
