Found this pub one evening on holiday whilst looking for somewhere to eat one evening. It's not well signed and blends into the surroundings so have always missed it in the past. The entrance to the pub car park is adjacent to the beach pay and display car park.
It's a big pub with a large conservatory at the back where you can sit and eat. It has beautiful views across the bay to the mount, which is a lovely backdrop to gaze over whilst waiting for your food.
The menu is standard pub grub, and is excellent value. I went for the 16oz steak which was only £15. It arrived with fries, carrots, peas, onion rings, and mushrooms. The steak was so large it had to be cut in half to get it on the plate!
The portion sizes are large especially for the price, and we thought it would be quantity over quality but this was not the case. The food was beautifully cooked and very tasty. All 4 of us cleared our plates.
Service was also excellent, helpful and friendly staff who were attentive without being intrusive.
All in all a truly excellent dinner and fantastic value. We will be back.
