Couldn't fault it - what a gem of a hotel - view, decor, service, atmosphere, cuisine (too good to call it food) - the standard and presentation was outstanding, and even breakfast was cooked to perfection !

Room Tip: View of St Michael's Mount

Have just visited the mount haven hotel, had the double deluxe room...beautiful room, very spacious and well equipped, room decor and furnishings of a high standard. All the staff we encountered could not be faulted, the barman does the best Gin and Tonics around!. The food in the restaurant was exceptional as was the service, attentive but unobtrusive. The hotel feels very high quality yet there is a relaxed and informal atmosphere throughout the hotel, which just makes you feel you are in an oasis of calm and tranquility. The location and the views from the hotel are amazing, thoroughly enjoyed and would not hesitate to reccommend this hotel.

Many thanks to all concerned at the Mount Haven

also it was a nice touch to give us complimentary fizz as we were celebrating my wifes 40th!

This is a really pleasant hotel of a good three star standard. Quite small with only 18 bedrooms but all the more friendly and attentive as a result. I would think the rooms have been recently refurbished as ours was immaculate. The bathroom looked brand new, the bed was large and extremely comfortable and the view was fantastic. Floor to ceiling windows opening onto a decent sized balcony with views straight over Mounts Bay to St Michael's Mount. We were there recently so the place was nearly empty so rather than using the dining room, tables were laid up in the large and comfortable bar/lounge. It has large slumpy leather sofas or very comfortable wicker arm chairs and again floor to ceiling windows with views over the bay. Despite the lack of numbers there was no skimping on the quality or choice of menu. We were there on a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast rate so ate three times for Dinner and the menu changed each night. Not completely but at least one item from each course changed. It was a fairly small but comprehensive menu. The food was freshly and well prepared and nicely presented and was excellent. Breakfast similarly was freshly cooked and perfectly done. All members of the team were friendly, helpful and efficient. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here on business and cannot recommend highly enough. Lovely hotel - rooms are great and maintained to a high standard and very clean. Amazing views from my room - and the staff are helpful, thoughtful and friendly - will definitely re-visit in the near future.

Room Tip: Stayed in room 15 - lovely views and balcony.

This is our third stay and on each occasion it couldn't have been better. Impeccible service, great food, fantastic staff and extremely comfortable rooms.

I would highly recommend the Mount Haven if you want to kick back and relax.

Room Tip: Any room with the view of St Michaels

Stayed here for a couple of nights last weekend. Upgraded to room 9 (deluxe room) for the second night as weather awful and spent more time in our room. Room is great with private balcony, sofa, fridge, huge bed and lots of extras. Standard rooms also great quality and views.

Atmosphere was warm and friendly, greeted with the smell of scented candles and a lovely smile from reception. My husband had hurt his back and staff were really helpful. All Staff we encountered seemed relaxed, chatty and showed a genuine interest in their guests.

Dinner was superb, Saturday evening was busy due to a 50th anniversary dinner party, but this didn't impact on service and only added to the lovely atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent, loved the music piped in restaurant during dinner and breakfasts and the gorgeous well behaved doggies to pamper (we were missing ours, they can stay too though) in the bar area. So well behaved.

Original artwork on the walls added interests, lots of interesting things dotted about to look at, but doesn't feel at all cluttered or overdone. We spent our first Valentine's here 10 years ago, so this place is special to us. Try it out, you will not be disappointed by the experience. I have a stressful job and this was just the ticket for a getaway from it all break.

Room Tip: room 9 amazing but room 8 standard room, also has a huge bed and great views , if that suits your po...

As said by many people before this is a great little hotel were the owners and all the staff really do look after you in a first class manner. We stayed for 3 nights and not once did we see anyone without a smile on their faces even on a wet and windy January day!!

We had room 19 a great room with a lovely view to St Michael's Mount and we must say one of the most comfortable hotel beds we have ever had, along with fresh tulip's in the room so much nicer then a vase of artificial flowers.

Meals in the restaurant again of a very high quality and presentation served of course with a smile and quiet enquire if everything was ok.

So once again a big thank you to every one at the hotel and will certainly return if we are in the area in the future

.

Room Tip: The higher the room number the better the view
