We stayed here as an add on to our holiday in the area and it was a lovely stay. The owner is a fab chap and really chatty.

The room was clean comfortable and did have a sea view as described, the window opened fully, which given the good weather was lovely to cool the room down.

We will be staying here again .... Plus the breakfast was lovely (and I'm a fussy eater)

I will never book through bookings.com again though as they lead you to believe you have paid when in fact you haven't. I felt sorry for the owner as it would appear he often has to politely explain the situation, there is a post office across the road for withdrawing cash and in our case he took a cheque, I would always book directly with him for any future visits.

Lovely sun drenched terrace, with shade if you prefer. A lovely pot of tea, with extra hot water and the most delicious cream tea, scones slightly warmed and plenty of jam and cream. No loo, but not a problem as they have an agreement with the pub opposite that their customers can use theirs (and they were lovely). Friendly staff, who welcomed us on arrival. Would recommend.

We visited here whilst on holiday for a bite to eat and cream tea. We were greeted by a nice lady and sat on a bench in the shade. Immediately my dog was given a bowl of water and the lady sat blowing bubbles for my 5 month old son - nice touch! We had a lovely sandwich followed by a cream tea as we were pushing the boat out on the last day of the holiday. All in all a very pleasant visit, nice friendly staff and lovely food.

Had lunch on the outdoor terrace, didn't stay in the B&B. To be fair the coffee and the raspberry punch we ordered were decent with generous portions but the sandwiches we had were expensive and quite poor. Eight quid a piece, for sliced bread and marg and rough chunks of fatty roast chicken - my wife had a large legbone in hers and when we mentioned this the waitress said sorry in a way that suggested she didn't really give a damn. We were told they didn't have a toilet which seems pretty unlikely for a B&B. And the terrace was covered in bird crap.

So go along if you want a decent coffee but you'll have to look for somewhere else to pee.

When we got to the hotel we were left waiting outside for around 30 mins as there was nobody there to greet us upon our arrival even though we were told it would've fine to book in anytime after 9am as we were going on to St Ives...the owners whole approach unacceptable, there were comments made about race, he obviously thought this maybe funny as I'm from Birmingham which is a multi racial city, he truly both my partner and I offended.we were given room 2 which was filthy, bed stained sheets along with hairs found in the bed once we pulled back the sheets, hense we made a sharp exit much to the bemusement of the owner who seemed oblivious to his actions..my advice STAY AWAY!!!!!

Very comfortable and pleasant room... Michael the host most welcoming, friendly and efficient. Great location, easy access to beach and Mount.. The recommendation for the food at The Kings Arms was great! We would certainly return here....
