“Relaxed atmosphere, excellent service, not sure about the trek up”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013

Three of us enjoyed a well prepared and tasty lunch in the Sail Loft. The restaurant/cafe is at the end of an exposed and uneven walk across the Causeway, and at the foot of a challenging climb over uneven steps and rocks up to the house. There was a queue even on a blustery and not too warm midweek day, but not too long a wait. The food was well prepared and tasty, good value tho' soft drinks are expensive. The serving staff were well trained, friendly and efficient. Would eat there again but not sure I'd make the challenging climb up St Michaels Mount other than to enjoy the views, as the interior displays have very little information on the place, and perhaps because of this it failed to capture my imagination.

“Lovely restaurant Right on St Michael's Mount”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2013

The views from this friendly, clean and warm restaurant are spectacular. The staff are friendly and efficient. There's a good selection of food and light snacks for all tastes. The cakes are delicious. IF you're visiting St Michael's Mount, allow enough time to relax and eat at the Sail Loft - just take the ferry back when you're done.

“Surprising!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013 via mobile

A great little cafe/ restaurant.
Ideal if you want just a coffee after a long walk round st Michaels mount or a light lunch of very good quality.
Attentive staff, local produce, very clean with a mix or modern art and seating and bare stone walls.

“National Trust so must be good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012

I had a voucher for a national Trust restaurant so as we had walked 3 miles to get to St Michaels Mount thought it deserved to be used. We had a light lunch which was absolutely delicious - mine involving Crab Bisque - divine! Staff very helpful and a lovely clean restaurant.
