Three of us enjoyed a well prepared and tasty lunch in the Sail Loft. The restaurant/cafe is at the end of an exposed and uneven walk across the Causeway, and at the foot of a challenging climb over uneven steps and rocks up to the house. There was a queue even on a blustery and not too warm midweek day, but not too long a wait. The food was well prepared and tasty, good value tho' soft drinks are expensive. The serving staff were well trained, friendly and efficient. Would eat there again but not sure I'd make the challenging climb up St Michaels Mount other than to enjoy the views, as the interior displays have very little information on the place, and perhaps because of this it failed to capture my imagination.
