If, like me, you've never seen one before, I guess this is what a sail loft looks like: light and airy with exposed stone walls and beautifully presented exposed wooden beams and roof. What is even more special about this place, though, is it's location on St Michael's Mount, overlooking the harbour. For that, it is unbeatable.
To be honest, I'd call it a smart cafe rather than a restaurant. That having been said, I cannot fault it.
As with everything on St Michael's Mount, whether it's open or not can be something of a lottery, so probably worth telephoning to check before venturing across the causeway.
