Location-wise: excellent location, just across the main ferry port. Parking available on the street just after 2pm daily. Walking distance from main markets/bars/clubs and restaurants
Service-wise: breakfast was very basic. A few croissants and sweets from local super market, nothing special at all - more like snack-breakfast. At most times the receptionist was in the 1st floor watching TV making it hard to locate him.
Cleanliness-wise: fairly clean i would say. Sheets were changed and room was cleaned on daily basis.
Rooms: Could definately do with some rennovation! It's unacceptable they charge so much for a 2* (maybe less) hotel. Size wise they were ok, bathroom seemed clean but you got the occasional hair left in the sink and other parts. TV was tiny and sound was locked to a minimum so you dont hassle other guests.
Sleep-quality: the bed was acceptable. We asked for a double bed but we got two adjoined single beds instead but we could live with that for 3 nights. It gets really noisy during the day due to the location of the hotel. Plenty of pillows but lack of duvet (was tiny) made it hard. We had to ask for extra blanket.
Value for money: most of the hotels in Igoumenitsa are fairly expensive for what they offer and what they actually are. Most of them are across the port, accomodating tourists for a few hours till they catch the next ferry to/from Italy. Dont expect something fancy, especially from this hotel. It's fairly expensive for what they are offering. I am sure that they aim at guests spending a few hours than few days.
I would not recommend it 100% but it's just ok for 2-3 days at most! Though it is ideal for people visiting for half day till they catch a ferry!
