My husband and I had a wonderful night's stay at Lochside Cottage last night. Our hosts were warm, humorous and extremely helpful. Mr McDonald even taught me some Gaelic over breakfast when I asked him to! They have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the area and enjoy helping their guests.

The breakfast was the best we've had on the Hebrides and we would certainly return if were in the area again. This is a marvellous B and B and we would encourage you to book there as soon as possible!

My Husband and I were warmly welcomed as we arrived of the late evening ferry. Mr & Mrs MacDonald were kind and very helpful as we settled into our little retreat. This delightful cottage sits right beside a loch, which lends its self well to the mountains in the background Our bedroom was cosy and comfy- with freshly ironed linens! Breakfast was outstanding, our plates were full loaded with the most desirable food one could ask for when thinking about a scottish breakfast, the coffee, tea and toast were in endless supply. I would highly recommend this B&B, your sure to get treated well and made to feel very welcome. We shall be back again. Hospitality is the name of the game at Loch-side cottage B&B!!
