“Great home cooked meals completely from scratch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014

I love the Lefse House because the people who work there are great and they are always willing to stop and talk and see how your days going. Bernell is awesome. The food is all made from scratch and tastes great. It is one of the only Norwegian bakeries I know of in Canada and it the only place that makes this type of stuff in Camrose. The Restaurant area is small but its uniquely set up in a souvenir shop surrounding. They are also have a veiwing window so you can see how lefse is made on their very unique lefse machines.

“Sure beats IKEA”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013 via mobile

Having lived in Sweden, and visited Norway and Denmark, finding this place was like heaven for me!!!! I couldn't believe such a place existed, and going makes me feel like all these wonderful Scandinavian things aren't distant memories, but are part of the lives of many other Albertans. My great grandparents from Sweden used to call Camrose home!

My fave is the chicken lefse wrap with honey mustard, but I've also had the meatballs. Wish I could go more and try more but it's 1hr away and not open weekends. The rye bread is worth the drive alone. Cinnimon buns were ok. And normally the service is ok but the girl was really giving us attitude this time. Not sure why.. Because we do really love it. You can't get food this fresh and wonderful at IKEA, and for what it's worth I never had food so tasty in all of Scandinavia!

“Nice Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

We went to The Lefse House in Camrose. We were very impressed by this quaint Restaurant. Our scandinavian lunch was like home cooking and tasted very good.
We appreciated the friendly service and atmosphere. We will visit this place again

“Unique restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013 via mobile

What a gem. A small Norwegian Restaurant and Bakery. Everything very fresh and tasty. Owner/Server very helpful in explaining the different items. Speciality of house is lefses which are potato crepes. We had lunch there and the other patrons appeared to be local people. Everything very clean. A must stop for lunch while in Camrose.

“Excellent lunch spot with truly Norweigen flavour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

This spot has a variety of lunches available at a set price which includes main course and dessert. Friendly efficient staff, well prepared food with fresh ingredients. Though it is based on authentic Norwegian dishes many such as the wraps and corned beef sandwiches are familiar in Canada.
