My fiancé and I decided to eat out in town on our last night in Coron. We came across this when our tour guide on our Coron Island tour mentioned WWII artefacts that were recovered from sunken ships from that period.
Apparently, it's composed of two buildings: the first one you'll see after alighting the bridge was the bar, and the one that has the view of the sea is the restaurant part of it.
He ordered a lapu-lapu and rice meal, and I, a seafood pizza. I could only finish two slices, but it's not that amazing. What I loved, though, was their free coffee - regular brew, and rice coffee (mum always gives me rice coffee to treat stomach ache, and I developed a taste for it.)
We also noticed a stray cat in the premises. Both of us are cat lovers, but she got so playful, she bit my fiancé on his finger! Fortunately, the district hospital doctor said, "unless that cat was bitten by a stray dog, cats in Coron normally do not pose a risk for rabies"
Later that night, listening to the gush of the water at Coron Westown Hotel's pools, we ate the rest of the pizza with a glass of wine each.
