“Very slow!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

We sat down for dinner at 5pm and only two or three tables were occupied. We had to call for the attention of the waiters when we wanted something. Long story short we ordered and waited for an hour. I had to go up to the counter and complain about the long wait. At that time they just started cooking our food... During our hour long wait we saw the restaurant fill up and other patrons received there food before us. Didn't even receive an apology for the terrible service.

The only good thing was the beautiful sunset from the seating area, but I could have gotten that else where without the ridiculous service.

“Lovely relaxed restaurant with great food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013 via mobile

We ate in the bar as the restaurant was busy, the bar is lovely, it's quite small with big chunky wooden furniture and a good atmosphere.
The food was good, although we were waiting a while for the food but this was because they were so busy in the restaurant. The food was good value and there is loads to choose from on the menu.
We also had breakfast in the restaurant on another day, the restaurant is over the water with a lovely cool breeze. The pancakes and fruit were excellent and good value.
We really enjoyed eating here, both in the bar and in the restaurant

“Only okay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

Cool features is that it is on the water, has a great view, the dive shop and their own boats are right there, five star PADI with decompression chamber. But the hotel is anything but five star. The rooms look old and need renovation. The bathroom was dirty with mold growing in all the cracks (room 304) and water pored into the tolet and sink area when showering making everything in the bathroom wet. No wifi except in the resto and bar. But the resto wifi is so amazingly slow, it is unusable. Bar area works okay only. The food in the resto was crap. I had calamari which was rubbery and plan. The dipping sause was watered down mayonaze. The hamburger although served on yummy home made bread was made with local meat making it crap. One quarter of it was pulled back out of my mouth and put on the plate as it was mostly grissal or unchewable. They don't even have white suger for your coffee in the morning. The only thing worse than the food was the service! Three servers standing five feet away chatting with each other about their personal lives for five minutes while my wife and I sat there looking at them waiting for them to come take our order. I'm sure their personal lives were more important than doing their job and providing good customer service! Service there is poor as best. Dive shop is good but go someplace else to eat and sleep.

“I wish I could give a negative rating for this restaurant”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

I am 33 years old and I think this was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had in my life. We waited forever to be seated and had to ask someone if it was ok for us to sit down before finally getting a table. The server ignored us until we asked if we could at least put in a drink order. They did not have the drinks on the menu and the drinks that they did bring us were warm. We had to ask the server again to come and get our dinner order which she did reluctantly. We ordered the kinilaw which we tried at every restaurant we went to in the Philippines and we were scared we were going to get food poisoning. The kinilaw had obviously been prepared hours earlier and had been sitting there because the fish was slimy and disgusting. About 30 minutes after ordering the server came over and said that two of the items we ordered were not available. Why did they wait so long to tell us? Not sure. So we ordered something else. Three of the entrees were brought out and they were just nasty. The fourth dish was still missing about 15 minutes later and we asked the server and she said it should be ready soon. About 10 minutes later they finally brought the last dish and it was a mess. They obviously were out of the needed ingredients and just threw together what they had, and it was gross. The server avoided us from the second we sat down and neglected us in every way possible. Everything about this experience was terrible. We've eaten there before and it was ok, but NEVER again will we return.

“What a find!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

We spent the last 4 days eating the Sea Dive restaurant. The portions were large and extremely generous. Cost was moderate to low. We found the staff very helpful and the owner was a gem!! They also have a dive shop and diving gear and a nice, clean bar--very nice and the view was great! We can't say enough about this find! The rooms were basic , mostly for divers.
