One of the people in our group did his Discover Scuba Skills Test here so while we were waiting around, we snorkled through. Not much sea life in the shallows, a few sporadic clown fishes are there. The good thing is that the sandy bottom was fairly soft. Scuba is a whole other world.
I wouldn't make a stop for this beach unless you actually go diving here. Once you do, you'll find beautiful colorful coral walls and much sea life. It's easy to get lost just watching the serenity of these creatures around you.
I was told that this place is the only publi beach in Coron which is why it gets packed put if you get the chance to scuba or at least do discover scuba (if you're a non diver), CYC is well worth it.
