“Make this your first destination in Coron”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

To get a bird's eye view of the entire Coron, it's best to visit this mountain on your first day. Here, you will get a glimpse of the lakes as well as the islands that you can visit for the rest of your tour. Bring water though as you need to climb 720 steps to get to the top. The view and climate at the top are definitely worth the effort!

“See the beauty of Coron on top of the mountain”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012

grueling 724 steps before your reach the top, you will witnessed the whole island of coron. Not recommended for those with heart ailments, joint problems and children below 6 years of age. A great way to loose the extra pounds while vacationing in coron.

“Best view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

If you want to see the best view of Coron bay, you have to climb Mt. Tapyas. Best time to do it is towards sunset so it is not so hot and you might be lucky to photograph one of the best sunsets.

“It's the climb!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

Very scenic especially when you go up at 4 or 5pm because you can catch the sunset! Nice to take pictures. And on top of the mountain, it's like the "sound of music" scene!

“Offers a great view of Coron town”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

Not really much, it's the main mountain of coron which was very picturesque during sunset. On the plus side, the growing tourism industry allowed them to build a staircase to make it easier for people to climb up. The view of the town and the dock is worth seeing. This is usually one of the first stops after you've checked in your hotel considering you only have the afternoon left if you checked in at noon.
