Rooms are very spaciousand very affordable. Beside the pier and the market, making my stay very convient. Staffs have great service. No wifi in some of the rooms but a great way to get some R&R. Really enjoyed stay here.presidential suit is the bomb. Junior suits feels like executive with very large bathroom and bathtub.

The best part of this hotel is that it is so near to the boat pier. When in Coron, you would be doing a lot of island hopping so the location of this hotel makes it convenient for their guests.

The room is huge and you could get a glimpse of the sea. The market is just behind the hotel where you can buy souvenirs, food, and snacks. Lualhati Park is also just within the area. Lots of food establishments just a short walk from the hotel, or if you are just to lazy to walk, a tricycle is easily accessed.

What we did not like about the room was they seem to have so many elevated and lowered sections of the floor. One minute you are on level flooring and the next you might stumble for going to the bed is elevated, then going to the bathroom is lowered, going to the toilet is lowered, going to the balcony is also lowered.

Another is that the food in their restaurant is quite below average. For a hotel that charges a lot, you would expect the food to somehow complement to the rates. Good thing restos are just within walking distance.

The worst part during our stay was the constant videoke or singing even after midnight!

If you need wifi, inside the room has little to no access at all so you need to go to their reception area...which has a bench good for 3 persons only.

The best part of our stay was that the staff were very helpful and courteous to their guests.

Stayed here with a friend and got the room at a very cheap price (Php 3500 for 4D3N for two for Junior Suite) It wasnt just a good room, but it was LUXURIOUSENORMOUS! Loved their large beds and bath tub.
The only disadvantage maybe is that they don't offer free breakfast. I don't know if it was because we had a voucher through Metrodeal but they have a resto on the ground floor among other must-try restos in Coron.

Great location, too.

I booked two nights on a promotional rate and it's one of the best deals I have ever gotten. The rooms are HUGE to a fault. About 70 square meters in my estimate. The bathroom has a huge tub and is clean and new. The hotel is built very well though the reception area could use some work. The staff was pleasant and it was very near the port where you ride to go off your island hopping tours. The buffet breakfast was satisfying and recommended. They are nice and thoughtful enough to provide beach towels when you go off your adventures. This hotel was even better rooms that the more expensive Corto Del Mar.

I am taking one star off because of the water pressure.

Room Tip: choose the second floor no lifts or elevator

Had a pleasant 2 night stay here with friends. The room was huge with a generous-sized ensuite and a balcony overlooking the main market. Hotel also provided complimentary water bottles each day and you can borrow a beach towel free of charge. We found the staff very helpful but the food in the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. I would gladly stay here again and would recommend it to friends.

Tip: You can hire a tricycle to take you to Mount Tapyas and Makinit Hot Springs for 450 pesos return if you're short of time. Well worth it! We also used the Calamian Islands Travel & Tours which is located across the street from the hotel to book the tours. Our guide Anthony was fantastic and would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting a truly enjoyable experience in Corong.

Price isnt really the cheapest... however.. its worth every penny. The rooms are clean... water supply is great... and very spacious rooms. In other words... its a great place to stay.

Food... however... isnt good. I would still go to coron village lodge for the food.hehehe

Just a background... we went to coron with some friends and booked at coron village lodge. We moves to coron gateway after a nights stay... only to realize that this place is perfect.hehehe

Capitalizing on the fact that it is the only somewhat decent hotel in the town center, Coron Gateway charges more than 4-star hotels in most metro areas in the country (upwards from $100). The rooms are variable (our party took 6 rooms), and some are okay but with annoying features like half-step level changes in several parts of the room, and others were simply not okay, with curtains that wouldn't close, and noisy air conditioners.

There is a restaurant that serves a decent breakfast, if you can wait 20 minutes or more to get served.

The hotel has no other facilities. Wifi is available free but only within a few meters of the small reception desk, which is on the second floor. The hotel is surrounded by public market stalls, and there is a noisy karaoke open 24 hours. An attempt to get laundry done failed, because the desk staff forgot to send it out to the laundry.

Room Tip: Be prepared for karaoke or market noise regardless of the room.
