We had a great family weekend at Radio Springs Hotel. Extensive and well priced local wine list, good selection of craft beers, even some difficult to source, excellent food, including gluten free and comfy rooms. Service and ambiance left little wanting. Well done Ken!

On a weekend away in Daylesford we headed here on a Sunday afternoon for a few drinks, and lunch. The service provided by the staff was warming, and welcoming. They attended to our every need - and even made menu suggestions for one of us that was Gluten Free. We all sat outside, and although it was a cool day they had heaters for us. I had the buttermilk fried chicken, with slaw and salsa. It was amazing! The chicken was fried to perfection, and filled the spot! The salsa added a nice kick to the palate, and the slaw was delicious. Others had mushroom pasta, a burger, mussels, and the pie - All reports were positive. There was live music inside, and the place the was full! I'd definitely come back here!

We loved our weekend stay at this hotel. The rooms were just gorgeous, beautiful comfy beds, plenty of interesting books to read and a lovely private back covered porch looking onto a beautiful garden. It just transports you back 60 years ago to its former glory. We have to say we got a great couple of nights sleep Which for us has been a priority when we travel. This stay did not disappoint. The food is really really good. We had fresh organic vegies which were cooked to perfection. The chef is also known for deserts, so the sticky date pudding is one you should not miss. This has a great atmasphere with a mixture of locals and visitors. bands play in the small sitting area and entertain the dinners friday, saturday and sunday nights. A great place to stay, unwind and enjoy your surrounds.

Room Tip: Room 2 and 3 are bright big rooms that have doors leading on to the back verandah. Room 1 has a beau...

I have been privy to two great evenings here with friends - one for my birthday a few months ago and again Sunday night with visitors from Sydney. Last time I had the porterhouse which was perfectly cooked and laced with delicious flavour, this time the parmegiana - very different to any I have had before but again was surprised by how full of flavour it was. We also had school prawns and blueberry pie to compliment either side of the main - YUM!

The trio playing in the corner bar was of course fantastic and my friends came away with a brilliant set of grins from the great food, music, great service and such a different evening.

What an amazing shock it was finding this jewel of a place in Lyonsville (sort of an abandoned ghost town). This place is a must for anyone who likes something a bit different and "off the beaten path".....eccentric, eclectic, and with delicious food and great music. Worth driving hours for the experience!

We stayed here in a beautiful room. We were made very welcome the moment we arrived. We met our friends, had an amazing meal, loved the music and walked to our room without leaving the building. Which was great because it was wet and cold outside! Next morning the breakfast was delicious with excellent coffee. Can't speak highly enough of the hospitality here. Can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: All good. An older style but everything necessary is there

I have been here about 10 times and love it. Quirky and out there, great fun and great food.
The service is definitely out there but that's part of the charm of the place.
The live music with each meal is a bonus.
