“What a find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2014

Following reviews on Tripadvisor, we decided to visit this Taverna to celebrate a birthday. Right from the start, we were made to feel like old friends on a return visit. The food, wine and ambience were exemplary, and we will definitely return. Our friends who accompanied us commented that regrettably we only found it on their last night on the island.

“Great food and warm friendly atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2014

Great typical taverna food and a really friendly welcome.

The food was really good (the pork chops were huge).

Seems to be popular with locals as well as those that make the trip out from paphos.

“Great food, company and ambience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

Beautiful restaurant in a traditional Cypriot village. My wife, daughters and I had a great night, as many have mentioned the food is great, and the hosts Anita and Antonis know a thing or two about customer service, if wasn't for the fact I was driving we would probably still be there! In addition what really made the difference to us was ambience, Anita and Antonis are great company over a drink or three, Brent and his "one for the ditch" we will never forget, there was just such a real mix of characters. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending anyone to visit, praise where praise is due. Well worth a visit whatever your ages, would go back like a shot

“Bring on the good food, great atmosphere and traditional musi”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

This traditional taverna is about twenty km north east of Paphos town and worth every metre of the uncomplicated trip to indulge in some wonderful food and a relaxed and casual atmosphere. The menu has something for everyone and I chose the pepper chicken. It was good and peppery hot but not too hot. A little surprise is that you get a complimentary dessert - we had a creamy coconut sponge and a dish of slices of water melon. Antonis and Anita a young couple who own and run the taverna can't do enough for you to make you feel very welcome and constantly attend to your every need such as another drink. The restaurant has two distinct parts - a very tradition inside eating area and bar and a raised terrace outside with a beautiful sail shaped canopy to keep the warm sun off whilst you are dining. They have live Greek music on Friday evenings when the whole place buzzes with a Mediterranean feeling that makes you want to dance.
