Owner description: Seal Bay offers one of the most exceptional nature-based experiences in the world. Fees are invested into ongoing research and conservation efforts and through these efforts we hope to preserve the natural habitat of a wild Australian sea lion colony for generations to come. Our tours are designed to suit a wide variety of visitors - you can stay all day if you want to! There are no enclosures or cages at Seal Bay. Instead, you will be taken into the heart of the colony where our experienced guides will teach you more about these endangered animals. Visitors given a unique insight into how these endangered animals fish, surf, rest, interact with their pups and defend their territory. If you prefer, you can set your own pace on the wheelchair accessible 300 metre boardwalk which meanders through the dunes to a number of viewing platforms.

“a must see if you like sea lions!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

We went for the guided tour and got very close to the sea lions. I could have watched them all day! Although many were sleeping, you still get a chance to watch the younger ones at play, the babies suckling and the cranky ones chasing each other. It was fantastic.

“Nice conservation park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

The walk amongst the seals with the ranger was quite good. It was close and personal visit to the seals. Did this as part of the driving on the way back from Remarkable Rocks.

“Not to be missed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013 via mobile

Seal Bay was fantastic! Definitely pay to go on the beach with them instead of just the boardwalk tour. We couldn't have been happier...got to watch a baby feeding, several animals coming in from the dunes, and a teenaged boy seal both every other seal on the beach. :) It was really great! Great guide, as well. Highly recommend it!

“WILD SEALS”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

I really like seeing the wild seals but as you're only with a guild it is scary at times. They come really near. The seals are beautiful. When we were there we saw a seal that had just lost his mother and he was moaning!!

Had a great time sesing the Seals while on KI. came here as part of a 2 day tour and we stopped off here on the way. Definitely worth it if you are a fan of the indigenous wildlife.
