Wish we hadn't of booked here!!

Stayed last night before a long haul flight got here at just after midnight, only one self check in machine working. Checked in went to our to which was room 245. Was filthy dirty and it stank so bad of weed!!

Went down stairs waited 25 mins for someone to change our room and didn't even get an apology about the room!

We had booked a double room when we changed room the man behind the counter looked at us with a vile look and said your both staying in the same room are you - so you want a twin room. So no said we wants a double!! He seemed to assume as we are two men we must be wanting a twin room!!!

Got to the new room it was ok not the cleanest but by this time we were to tired to change the room again. The heating was on full whack so we we boiling all night and cldnt turn it down. Serval marks on the walls , paint on the head board.

Got woken up at 05:30 by the fire alarm going off for a couple of mins then it went off!

Shattered, not impressed, will never stay here again - wld rather sleep in the car!!

NOT IMPRESSED.

Stayed here with my wife and daughter prior to my daughter heading off to Canada for 3 months internship. Ok, so it's not the Ritz, but for the money I could not fault it. Some reviewers seem to think that for a hotel to be classed as being at Heathrow you need to be sleeping on the runway, but it is only a brief shuttle bus away...
The staff were very friendly and helpful , the rooms were clean , the bar was ok for this kind of place, and the buffet breakfast was surprisingly good. For £26 per night per person B&B I don't think you can complain. OK, so it is on the edge of an industrial estate , but it's not somewhere you would stay for a fortnight. For what it does , ie somewhere to stay for a night before heading off on your holidays , it is fine. I would definitely recommend , and will stay again.

We stayed at this Travelodge whilst visiting Legoland and Chessington (it's pretty well placed for both), with more than a few concerns about location and noise. But we needn't have worried, it's quiet enough considering where it is and it's very easy to get to.

The room is what you expect from Travelodge, i.e. like all of their other rooms, but it was clean and tidy and the bed was quite comfortable. Unfortunately, we had no hot water when we got up in the morning. As we were only staying for one night it wasn't a huge concern and hopefully just a one off.

We had a family room and the kids had a camping bed to sleep on. They slept like logs so it was more than adequate. We also had a fire alarm at 04:30 in the morning, so we all had to troop outside in the rain for 15 minutes. It turned out to be a false alarm, which was a relief. Certainly not the hotel's fault, and the staff on duty handled it well.

Others have commented on the car park ramp turns being tight, and they sure are. If your car is bigger than an average hatchback, take some care as the scuff and paint marks on the walls and kerbs will testify that a good number of drivers have not made it around unscathed!

For the money we paid I was happy enough with the hotel. We didn't sample anything from the cafe, so I can't comment on that but it looked OK. Overall, certainly worth considering.

Room Tip: We had views of the jets flying over from Heathrow, which was good, but thankfully the soundproofing...

The Travelodge webiste map shows this as '0 miles from Heathrow' and the accompanying written description says 'Just 2 miles from Heathrow Terminal 5. ' Both are incorrect. In reality it is a lengthy coachride (£5 per passenger) and the coaches don't run after 10:30pm. Taxis will charge a minimum set fare of £35.
The hotel itself was not clean. They stopped serving food at 9:30pm (earlier than advertised) and there are no facilities for a wake up call (in an airport hotel!!!) if you need to catch an early flight.
Disappointing!

Room Tip: Find another hotel!

Well placed hotel the service from the staff was excellent, the rooms were clean and well maintained. The position to link up with any of the terminals were good, and although we did not use the shuttle it seemed to run regularly.

I stayed at this Travelodge last Thursday and was very impressed, the beds were super comfortable and they offered a great selection of food at the bar. I arrived very late and had to leave first thing for an interview and the hotel staff were very accommodating, especially the manager which was working the morning of the 15th who let me use the printer which literally saved my life as I needed the documents for my interview!! and even got one of his staff to run outside and hold the bus for me while we printed! He told me his name which i promised I'd mention on trip adviser I want to say it was gary or Gareth bit but I just can't remember! But he was a total babe! All in all fantastic value for money I have stayed in a lot of travelodge and this one was by far my fave, highly recommend!!

Stayed here recently on two separate occasions and was pleasantly surprised. The room is very basic but very clean, the beds were both firm and a good night's sleep was had. The proximity to the M25 and the runways did not intrude past the double glazing and no you cannot open the window.

The location is in an industrial park and the entrance is not the easiest to find, but if you are looking for a sub £50 night accommodation in London in decent room then here it is.

I used the Hoppa bus a £5 each way to the Terminal and then £40 return on HEX to Paddington and was there in 40 minutes from my hotel room. The round trip cost more than the hotel! Parking is £7.50 per day which in the context of LHR is very cheap.
