“Wow”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Beautiful tree in the middle of one of the greenest park areas we have seen in Mexico. The tree is incredible, makes you want to build a tree house and live in it. Glad to see that they are doing their best to preserve it.

Do not miss one of the largest trees in the world. It is over 2000 years old and has a width that exceeds it height.

“Do not miss”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

It is not often that we can see a 2000 year old tree. This one is located about 15 minutes by taxi or bus from the city of Oaxaca. It is HUGE!!! Well worth it. Around are local merchants, small shops and restaurants. Enjoy a few hours there!

“Huge and interesting with hidden animal shapes”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

It was nice to see the tree and look for animal images in the bark, but I really wanted to touch and climb it! Couldn't for obvious reasons but I'm still glad we saw it on a multi-town tour.

“Its a cool thing to do if you don't mind taking a bit of time to go see a tree”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

Take a bus or collectivo cab for 10 pesos and is 10 pesos to get in. Yeah its just a tree and it'll take 2 hours out of your day but if you're running out of things to do in Oaxaca is an interesting tree and yeah its huge.
