“Great spot for Breakfast!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2013 via mobile

We really liked your restaurant! The breakfast is awesome and you get a huge amount of food for your dollar. Service was quick and our waitress was on top of our refills and coffee when we needed it. We recommend this spot for a great meal! See you again soon

“First time there......”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

Took the family there to meet a friend today.
Got there ate 7:45 am.........a few people there....we were eating by about 8:10.
2 eggs over easy, 4 playing card sized pieces of peameal bacon, about a cup of home fries, and 2 slices of toast for $6.99.
Also comes with a yogurt cup sized portion of assorted fruit.
Didn't finish the homefries......too much!

Service was good this time for me....no complaints.
Only thing I could have used was some HP sauce......none seen, only ketchup.

Just browsed the breakfast menu...............63 offerings!!!

Would go back again for sure.
$53.00 for 5 people today.........just better than ten bucks each including tax............

“Its like Cora's but in Cookstown...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

Service can be a little slow but the food is great and plentiful. On the weekend it can get very busy and the lineups are out the door. My favorite is the STRAWBERRY WAFFLE SUPREME !

“Breakfast until 3pm.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013 via mobile

This restaurant would be great even in a larger town. I was not expecting much in tiny Cookstown. We went at 10:30am. The parking lot was pretty full, but there was no wait. The service was excellent with the food arriving much sooner than I expected. My only complaint was my Eggs Benedict was a little overcooked. I like them a little runny and requested them that way. They were solid. They tasted great though. I asked for a pancake on the side and the waitress threw it in. You have to request the real maple syrup and it is a extra cost. I think it is well worth it. The servings are huge. Make sure you get the pea-meal bacon which is something I had never heard of before visiting Canada.

“Wear loose pants....huge servings !!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

Absolutely love this place. You can have a bit of a wait on the weekends but its worth it. Have never seen such a selection of breakfast foods and portion sizes. Large family atmosphere. Nothing fancy but great food and wonderful staff. Very accommodating to families with children. Try the banana bread French toast...yummy!!!!!
