A return visit, on our annual break to the Essex coast. Warm and welcoming after walking the sea wall, we visited on Sunday lunchtime. Even in February it was busy and we were lucky to get a window table overlooking the river.
At teast 8 real ales at the bar and Sunday lunch at £10, great value. A lively, vibrant atmosphere with a mix of locals, visitors, and a local football team!
Friendly, efficient staff and the best located pub on the Essex coast in our book!
