A little gem in what was once a very busy town. Although a Lloyds bar where drinks and food are usually more expensive the Lord Caradoc holds its own. Food is typical Wetherspoons served quickly and hot. All the usual drinks are available with the added bonus of a very good selection of real ales, but no discount with a camra card. If you want a special cider its usually kept in the cellar so you have ask for it Staff are very friendly and efficient. It's quiet in the week for the party starts on the weekend here.
Nice beer garden at the back of the pub best used in the warm weather though.
As with most wetherspoon pubs the toilets are upstairs apart from the disabled toilet which everyone seems to use and leave the door open, not very good if you are sitting near having food.
I'll certainly go back again and have an excellent pint of real ale.
Praise the lord.
