“PERFECT!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

I was trying to find a place to stay overnight when I was mountain biking in Afan park when i came across Haford grange BB online and what I got was so much more! from the moment i arrived to the moment I left everything was perfect in every way. I received a warm welcome from the lovely Gail who showed me to my beautiful and immaculate room and then around the rest of the house which was also very warm, cosey and inviting and spotless after that i was left to feel at home to relax in anyone of the three lounges and enjoy the home made welsh cakes that Gail had left and watch some tv or even use the free wifi! In the morning after my great night sleep I was treated to a breakfast fit for a king , with a full cooked breakfast full of local produce and choice of fresh fruit breads and cereal and drinks, you could not ask for better! After a hard day on the bike i returned to a fantastic homemade beef casserole and apple crumble which was the best iv had! then i was left to relax for the evening and unwind but not before being told there was a piece of homemade banana cake upstairs for me to enjoy later! The whole package was perfect and Gail was amazing I will be returning as soon as i can and i can not wait!
thank you Gail

This magnificent B&B must be top of the list if you are looking for a homely relaxing quiet place to lay your head. The views are stunning and the walks are tranquil.
The owner Gail is the perfect host and provides guests with the most delicious homemade Carrot Cake and Welsh cakes. The dining experience is divine and caters for your every need. All the rooms are clean, warm and homely.
The only other thing there is left to say that there is great Surf within a few miles....

Thanks Gail

Lovely Accomodation, no distance off the main road and easy to find. And what a find it is. I can highly recommend it. Good food welcoming and beautifully kept. The views are lovely and it's very quiet.

After a bit of a mix up we ended up happening upon this place a short distance from the mountainbiking trail centre at Glyncorrwg, Afan. What a discovery! Gail (landlady) couldn't have made us more welcome. The entire place was spotlessly clean and beautifully cosy - just what we needed after a day on the trail. Besides our lovely twin room we had the run of three different living rooms (complete with TV, self-service kitchenette and table tennis table). The views over the bay from the idyllically situated farm are spectacular. So much so that you won't want to head back down the hill to find dinner, which means you won't miss out on Gail's fabulous cuisine. She is a landlady who obviously takes pride is her food and rightly so. Between welsh cakes and tea on arrival, followed by a lovely two course meal in the evening and the most sumptuous breakfast, it was a good thing we intended to spend another day on the bikes! Best of all Gail caters for vegans (soya milk and yoghurts for breakfast!), vegetarians (beautiful home made veggie muffins with chutney) and meat-lovers (locally sourced bacon and sausages) alike. She even brought us some silver foil so we could take any leftover breakfast with us to enjoy for lunch. I really can't say enough about this place! Looking forward to our next visit already!
